I got one today for DD. I have to head to a 2nd Target tomorrow to see if I can get one for my son because the only ones the store had today were pink.

Had anyone bought a Furby for a child who played with it more than a few days? It seems as if they don't have a lot of lasting play value, at least for the kids I know who have had one.

Could you buy the pink and exchange it for another color when they get more?

Hmm, I don't know. If the second Target doesn't have any blue ones I'll do that. Thanks!

And for the poster who asked about the longevity of the Furby -- my son has one from last year. He tends to go in spurts with it -- he'll play with it for several days and then not for a while. He recently has had a resurgence in it and it's getting lots of play time again.

DD7 is wanting one for Christmas. How do you get the deal? Can you get it online?
Thank you for posting!

As far as longevity....we didn't have good luck with ours last year that Santa brought...once we had to change batteries, they never worked again....so getting one on sale would be great! :goodvibes:

Did you reset it with that teeny-tiny button after you changed the batteries? Sometimes that helps.

Funny story, tonight I came home and I heard DD's furbies talking upstairs even though no one was home. As soon as I stepped on the stairs and they creaked, the furbies all fell silent...... I'm telling myself that the cat probably jostled them, but am not sure I quite believe it.

Thanks for posting!

I picked one up for one of my nieces (7) for Christmas. I chose the Peacock colored one (almost went for the pink polka dot one).

I somehow got it for less money, though! :cool1: I went to have customer service price match to the online price ($56.99) because my store didn't have the temporary price cut, but when I told her I wanted to price match she said it was actually even cheaper ($47.80) and that she had just sold another one right before me at that price. Anyway, so I got 50% off of that sale price making it $23.90, then my 5% RedCard discount for a total of $22.70 (plus tax)! I walked out with the Furby Boom for under $25!

I have no idea where the employee came up with the price of $47.80 to begin with so I unfortunately can't tell anyone how to replicate that. :( I was expecting to pay just under $30 for the Furby but now I'm even happier!

It's a long and complicated story, but years ago my BFF and I used to hide a Furby at each other's home when we visited. You had to leave the Furby without being caught, then when the other person found it, he/she had to attempt to leave it at the other person's home without being caught. As we lived about 1.5 hours away from each other at the time, we slept over at each other's houses a lot rather than trying to make the trek to and fro, so getting the Furby moved to the other person's house wasn't as difficult as you might think.

So thank you OP. . .I know what someone is getting for Christmas. <Insert Evil Chuckle>.

Has anyone bought more than one Furby with the cartwheel? I did a price match this morning and used the cartwheel and the guy at customer service said he thought I could use it again.

Bought a second one this morning -- no problems! And I got a "boy" one. Not the one he wanted exactly but at least I have one in case I can't find the pattern he wants.

Thank you for posting this! I got my nephew the black and white one.

Thanks! I went back and bought two more. I can't believe how much I saved. Thank you OP for posting this!

Of course I wait too late to try to grab a coupon. If anyone has a coupon they will not be using, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
