Funny story about my DH and DS in San Francisco.

Our son is 12 and for the past FOREVER he has watched Full House. He has always loved that show. On vacation we went to San Francisco.......well DH had stopped at a Super Stop to get something to drink and he gets back into the truck and says,

"John-Cole guess what?"

John-Cole asks what................John says

"Do you see that truck there? Well there is a GPS device in that truck. That means that they can give you directions to anywhere...so I asked them to find someone for me......so guess wehre we are going?????"

J.C. is confused of course.......he says "The Golden Gate Bridge?"

"Nope!" John Says, "I asked him for directions to.......THE GIBBLER RESIDENCE!!!!!"

I thought J.C. was going to throw his daddy out of the truck!!

I guess you would have to watch Full House to get it.......its on in Re-Runs ALLLLL day long here. J.C. loves that silly show but John thinking of it cracked me up as well.

I used to live in Boulder, Colorado and people were always asking for directions for the "Mork and Mindy" house (I know, I just dated myself).

Hey Beth -- I actually went to see the Full House house when DH had a conference in San Fran and I was sightseeing by myself. That was the same day I came across Cheech filming his show and they thought I was the Mom of one of the extras and gave me a seat to watch filming! I was across the street from Full House and a bunch of construction workers started cat calling to me, so I whipped out my camera and started shooting like they were models, telling them to twirl and "work it", etc. The guys were cracking up, hamming it up. I never told DH and when he saw the pictures, he was like ?????? is going on here??!! It was pretty funny. When I left one of the guys yelled -- thanks for being such a good sport, usually we get the finger!
