Funny Memes

I remember those days. Fingers crossed just hoping, but the majority of the time our district had to go.
Michigan told you to butch up and walk to school fast in your moon boots back in the early 80's. :rotfl:

TV? We listened to the radio. Heaven forbid you turned in and they had already gotten past your school's name in the alphabet! lol

I was in charge of my TV station's school closing system for years. This was back when we even read them on air. What a mess!

Dark humor at its best on several levels.

I was charge of our my TV stations school closing system. There are 120 different school districts in our viewing area, fortunately only about 6 that were in regions (the foothills and mountains) that got enough snow to ever have a snow day. It was on the ticker, on our website, and read on the air every 10 minutes in the introduction to the weather segment.
Thanks to kids all getting tablets during the start of the pandemic in 2020, by the time I retired in 2021 snow days went away, we would just announce that it was a remote learning day and students did not need to go to school, but were expected to log on to their class from home.

Hate to say it, but this is true. In my experience customer service has always been better when women are on the line. They seem to know more and are more willing to work with you. The same goes for in-person. Maybe its just me, but I have generally found female CM's at the parks more cheerful and willing to engage guests. It's probably the same reason why computer voice's in fighter planes are women. The pilots tend to listen more. 😂
