Funny disney related things kids have said

Once, when DH and I were in the "world" before our children were born we were on the monorail. This family gets on the same car as us and the little girl (mabe 4 or 5) starts talking about all of the autographs she'd gotten for the day and in a huff she says "Minnie didn't sign my autograph book...THAT RAT!" LOL it was so funny!:p

I just remembered something my sister used to say when she was little (she's almost 25 now:rolleyes: ) She used to call EPCOT APPLECOT and it will always be APPLECOT to me:p

My own memory comes from quite a few years back. My family and our friends, another family, went to WDW in the early 80's. We were on the shuttle bus coming from the Tree House Villas when one of our group (little boy at the time, about 5 yr. old) spotted a small group of peacocks in all their fine glory. In amazement and VERY loud excitement he screamed out, "LOOK AT THE TURKEYS!"
The entire bus laughed uproariously.

It got quiet one day & so I went searching for my 4 year old DD. She was in the bathroom with our penny jar tossing pennies into the toilet. I asked her, what are you doing? She says "I'm wishing for the one I love..."

We recently took my 3 yr old nephew to see Finding Nemo. It was his first time to see a movie at a movie theater. Before the movie started, he wanted to know when we were going to get some glasses to wear. He was thinking about the 3-D glasses he received at WDW for ITTBAB and HISTA. He also wanted to know if the seat was going to sting him like in ITTBAB.

My cousin and I took her then 5yo DS to WDW. We stayed at the Contemporary and it was his first time in any hotel. A couple of weeks after we got home we went to the local amusement park. When we pulled into the parking lot he kept asking us where the hotel was. He was shocked to learn that not all amusement parks have hotels in them. My cousin and I still laugh about that one.:D

Oh, another one about the same kid. :D I have a friend who was raised in London and has an English accent. When my cousin's son met him for the first time he asked him if he was from Epcot.:D

On our first family trip, I apparently went a little overboard with planning character meals. After 6 consecutive days of dining with the characters, we just had a "normal" dinner planned for the 7th night. I was concerned about how my DD and DS (at the time 5 and 3) would react so earlier in the day I explained to them that there would not be any characters at dinner that night. My DD looked at me and said "Good - I finally get to eat in peace!!"

ROTFL! That is too precious!:D

lol these are great! i have a small one.

early this year in may we went to disney with two of my friends and 4 family members. we decided to take the busses to MK so we wouldnt have to take two cars. later that night on our way back home, my friend kept complaining rather loudly that she had to go to the bathroom. the driver chuckled and told her they would do some good ol' disney trivia. well he started asking simple questions about mickey and everyone in the busy started answering the questions like it was a contest. he asked if anyone knew if mickey and minnie were married or if they were just sweethearts. my friend that had to go to the bathroom thought for a moment and when the whole bus was completely silent she yelled out "I THOUGHT THEY WERE BROTHER AND SISTER?" everyone started laughing and we still bother her about it. ^_^

My wife and I got married at Disney a couple of years ago. We invited the whole extended family to come to our wedding plus spend a few days in the parks. One of the guests was our 4 year old niece whom we rarely get to see. During our stay my wife and I really grew attached to our little niece. She must have felt the same about us because when she got home she asked her mom, “When can we go again to visit Uncle Kevin and Aunt Rhonda in the big castle where they live?” She honestly believed we lived in Cinderella’s Castle…I wish!

When my ds5 was almost 3, we went to WDW with him for the first time. We knew we were planning the trip, but like alot of others here, we told him that when he learned to poop in the potty we would take him to WDW. Every time he would go, we would say, you get to go to Disney World!

One day we were at the mall and DS had to go to the restroom. We went into a stall where the person in there before us did not flush their poop. :( Anyway, when DS saw it, he said "SOMEBODY'S GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!"

It was so funny that I cried.

elemusing--I just read your post to my DH and we are both laughing hysterically. Thanks for sharing!

Went to see POTC tonight. Took 5 yo son who just couldn't wait to see "Pirates of the Tractor Beam".

My nephews were at Chef Mickey, and the littlest one was looking for Chip and Dale. He asked his mom from across the table:

"Where's Chip and Dip?"

Pretty cute.:)

We took our DDs to Chef Mickey's. We told them we were going to eat with Mickey Mouse. When they seated us at a table for four, my 2 year old asked "Where is Mickey Mouse going to sit?"

.........................our daughter used to call Pinocchio Pinochinoke and Pocahontas Pocushontas....................
Well, it's always been "PUKKAHUNTUS" in our house!! LOL

What a great thread!

I think the one about Jimminy Cricket saying it was time to go back to WDW is my favorite- sounds like something I would say! ;)
