I've got a great one... when my youngest
DD was about 2 or so, we were on a
character hunt in EK. We had done
pretty well, but we were looking for
a very bouncy orange tigger....
So, like most parents, we were spelling
out words so's our DD couldn't
understand us. Well, we spelled
"ti double g rrr" and all of a sudden from
the stroller piped up "and that spells
Tigger!"
We were laughing so hard, we just
about ran off the path!!!

the other day when I was working at the castle, one of the cast members sat a family with a 5 year old girl. She looked at the seater, and thought for a moment, then told her she looked like a maid. The CM said, "Well, I'm kind of like one, because I help Cinderella out in her dining room" and the girl thought for a little bit more, and then said "well don't worry. someday soon you will find you own prince charming and have your own castle"

After our last trip, DS (who was 2 1/2) decided he was going back to WDW for vacation. He was "leaving in two weeks and staying for 3 weeks" (I wish!) Anyway, DH and I asked him, well, how will you get there? He just sort of sighed, and said, "faith, trust and pixie dust"!

BTW, he got his wish, just not as soon as he thought!

These stories are great; they have me rolling! I have one to add. We go to Palm Springs every winter to visit my parents, as they winter there. When our DS was 6 we were in Palm Springs and went to Costco, as my parents needed to pick up a few items. We were standing in a very long line, and there was a lady several people ahead of us. She was probably 75, and she had had a TON of plastic surgery (any of you who have been to Palm Springs will know that it is the plastic surgery capital of the world!). She was dressed from head to toe in all shades of pink...pink cowboy hat, pink leggings, pink too-tight top, pink high heals, and a pink bag. She had on bright pink lipstick. Everyone around was staring. Anyway, after awhile of standing in this line, and looking at this pink plastic surgery lady, our DS turns to us and whispers "That lady has been watching a little too much Disney". We thought we would fall over when we heard that!

After my daughter's first trip to WDW at 2, she was praying at church the next Sunday and thanked God for all the roads to Disney World.

The other one happened when she was 5. She and my mom went to the Food Among the Flowers Brunch. She loves flowers, so we kept telling her they were going to a Flower Show. My mom told us later that they were sitting at the table eating when she asked when the dancing flowers were coming out. Apparently when we told her it was a flower show, that's what she thought. We still laugh about that one.

This isn't exactly what you asked for, but it is Disney related, so please indulge me.

15 years ago when my niece, Mollie, was 6, my DH and I took her down the shore for a week by ourselves. While there, she lost her first tooth. Of course this was big news when we called home, and my sister passed this on to all of her friends.
One friend was quite concerned. She inquired of my sister, "Do you think the tooth fairy will visit Mollie at the shore?"
My sister's reply, "Are you kidding? She's with her Fairy Godmother!"

(Okay, so maybe I did spoil them a little.)

My nephew who is now 11 went to WDW when he was 6 and when he came home he was so excited he got to go on his favorite ride Snow White and the Seven Dorks!

My DS who is now 10 on his 2nd trip in 2000 all he wanted to do was to go to Apricot and see the gian ball (EPCOT)!

On the way home from Vacation Church School last summer my then 4 yo DD was telling me she had learned about Faith Hope and Love.....after a little silence she exclaimed wow Faith, Hope, Love, and Pixie Dust-Jesus gave us a lot!

My 2yo DD was trying on her flower girl dress the other day. It was so adorable. She was sitting on the floor trying to get her dress on and her shoes all by herself. My DH and I thought about the WDW commercial w/ the little girl getting ready to go and see Cinderella. Well as soon as my DD had her dress and shoes on she jumped up and ran into her bedroom climbed up on her dresser and got down her tiara like Cinderella. Then she ran into her playroom and found her wand and come running over to us and said with the biggest sparkle in her eyes "I'm ready" Of course my DH and I were crying our eyes out. She thought she was the little girl going to see Cinderella.

Ive got a few.

My three year old is the house comedian. We were trying to encourage him to get out of the diapers late last year and told him "use the potty and we'll go to WDW". Well, we took our trip in February before he even wanted to try.

Come March, we started again, and on day two he says "I just went pee in the potty. I'm going to Disney World!" He STILL asks to go every day.

About a year and a half ago, we'd ask what's your name "Kevin" How old are you 'two' where do you live "In Disney World"...must be all the Mickey artwork on the walls, lol.

He also thinks that the magic word is "Disney World"

I am so glad to hear there is another nutty family like ours out there. We are going through the very exact thing w/ our 2yo DD right now. We told her if she goes on the pot and stops wearing diapers she can go to WDW.
And she also says she lives in Disney World.
She also says "Wow those are some lucky peeples, Mommy I go to Disney world Too Peeeease." every time she sees or hears a plane.

This Disney moment happened when DD was around 3 or 4.

We were going through our regular bedtime routine and for some reason she asked me what happens when you die. I told her that if you've been good, you get to go to Heaven and be with God.

She wanted to know what Heaven was like. I described it as the best and happiest place you could ever imagine. Of course, she wanted to go! I told her that she couldn't go just yet and that I hoped it would be a very long time before she went to Heaven.

She thought about this for a few minutes and then turn to me and asked, "Well, then can I go to Disney World?"

Thanks to all of you for sharing! Ours (9 and 6) are a little too old to be so cute anymore.

Last year, on their second visit, we ate one dinner at Pizzeria Uno at the Crossroads shopping center. Not too long after we were seated, the 6yo got a concerned look on his face and asked "Daddy, are we still in Disney World?"

I had to tell him that technically we weren't, but that it was "right over there" on the other side of 535, and that we would be going back in after eating. Thus reassured, he was able to enjoy his dinner. Talk about a Disney snob! Even without seeing the usual large sign, he sensed we had gone off property!

Last August while at WDW our family did the Family Magic tour, at the end of the tour we were greeted by Belle. Well my DD(4) and DN(4) are Belle crazed. When they saw her, they both flip out in excitment. Well my DN began following Belle while she greeted other members of our group, trying to hold an intelligent conversation with her about her movie. Well I guess Belle did not give her enough girl talk. (Which she gave her plenty). Well the next day, we had a PS for CRT. During B-fast the princess were walking around spending ample enough time with the girls. Well when Belle (the same Belle from the day before) appeard and my DN says to her in a tone. "You know yesterday when I saw you, I was trying to talk to you and tell you my cousin has your movie but, you wouldn't listen to me". All we could do is still there like . From then on Belle gave DD and DN plenty of princess girl time!

Last September we went to WDW with a co-worker and her three boys. We got off the plain, and were walking through the airport (these boys have never been anywhere), so while were were on the little tram over to the other side of the airport, the oldest boy (9) goes "are we in Florida?" I said "yeah why?" he then said "because it looks so normal". IT was too funny, we still tease him to this day. Another interesting question was, "how do they get the salt in the ocean".
These are other stories are really cute though!

I have been giggling for the past several minutes reading these! I have one that I posted over on te CB when it happened, but I'll tell it again here.

I drive a mini-van, and one day DD4 was in a question asking mood. She asked some type of question about the van, so I said something about it being mommy's mini-van. Apparently I put too much emphasis on "mini" because her next question was, "So if Daddy is driving, is it a mickey-van?" Fortunately we were almost home because I do not think I would have made it since I was laughing so hard.

A couple of days later, DH was in the van with us (I was driving), so I decided to have some fun. I asked DD what my car would be if daddy was driving. She of course answered mickey-van. DH looks over at me and asks what I have been teaching our children!

When my oldest DD was a toddler her favorite movie was "DoggyNations"(101 Dalmatians). She also like "OkieOak"(Pinnochio).

During our first trip to the Beach Club Villas, my then 3yo went out on the balcony and said: "Oh look Mommy. I can see Apricot from here!"

During the same trip, while waiting for the Muppet show at MGM, we were sitting next to a woman who introduced herself and then went on and on about where she was from and where she was staying. My daughter patiently listened. When the woman was finished, my daughter turned to her, looked her in the eye and confidently stated. "My name is Melissa. My home is here, in Disney World!" I wonder how much that would have been worth to the DVC people, had I had that on tape!

On our most recent trip, when asked where to go during our free day, she responded: "I think we should go back to Typha Galoon!"
