Funniest Memory On A Ride

We did a lot of single rider last trip. On one occasion on Test Track DD15 was placed with a group of 5 and she was very noticeably the odd one out in that ride photo...:rotfl:

On the other hand, another time she sat by the mom of a family of 5 who talked with her and she felt like she fit right in! We had a lot of fun riding single rider on all 3 SR rides and comparing notes afterwards who we were with and what they said if they talked to us pixiedust:

I have met some great folks riding SR in DLR. Once I was placed with a great group of kids whose parents refused to ride Splash with them again. They asked if I'd do a funny photo with them and we all made goofy faces and they told me I was much cooler than their mom. I told them I wasn't going to pay for them to go to Disneyland again, so they should be nice to their parents.

Way back in the nineties, my parents took my sister and me to WDW. We had a tradition of going January 2nd - 9th. Back then it was a very quiet time to go.

We were on El Rio del Tiempo (anyone remember that one?) and we were, not kidding, the ONLY people on the ride. So my Dad, Mom and I started singing along at the top of our lungs, complete with silly shouting "Y ARRIBA! Y ARRIBA!" and other rather obnoxious things.

I thought my sister was going to crawl out of the boat. The best thing is, she wound up doing the College Program just a couple of years later. We joked that during her interview someone would pull out a video of that ride and say, "Is this you?"

Last year my youngest daughter (4 yo) was finally tall enough for Tower of Terror. She rode Splash Mountain a day before (also for the first time) so she thought this is going to be just as much fun. She was very excited before we got on the ride, she kept saying how excited she was and how much fun this is going to be. When the first drop happened she spread her arms and legs out as far as she could. She was so surprised that she couldn't even scream. She kept looking up, and she had no idea what was happening to her. When the ride was over her brother and sister asked her if she liked the ride, she yelled NO very loud. She was really mad. Everyone around her started laughing then someone behind us said "Well, that shouldn't be in a Disney commercial!" We are going back next month again, and my kids keep asking her if she would ride TOT this time but she still refuses to give it another try. She will ride EE for the first time in August. We can't wait to see what her reaction will be to the ride :rotfl2::rotfl:

It is a running joke in our family that every time we ride POTC just before the drop my Dad will yell "We're all gonna die!" (especially if the people in the boat before us scream.)

A few years ago he did this and the woman in the couple sitting in front of us slapped her husband on the shoulder and yelled "You better have not tricked me into getting onto another one of those flume rides again Bobby! I'm not going this again today!" I'm assuming that he had already tricked her onto splash mountain. Needless to say after the drop she was very angry but later realized that the drop was the only thrill.

Pretty mild but ... when DD was about 10 she went on one of the individual Summit Plummet type slides at one of the water parks. Because she was so light she stopped far from the end of the slide at the bottom and couldn't see where to exit the slide. So she started trying to climb out over the rocks!

I was waiting at the top and started to yell at her, then started laughing, and the lifeguard at the top even started chuckling.
