We were on JP at IOA at our last stay at Disney and there were these two kids behind us getting all freaked out by the dinosaurs. And the mom kept saying, 'They're not real it's alright." throughout the ride, as we got into the part with the raptors one of the kid goes "Mom are we going to die?" She explains, "No it's just a ride it's going to be alright." Right as a huge steel box falls from the cieling, of coarse part of the ride, the kid screams, "We're all goign to die!" Right before the T-Rex pops out and he screamed screamed screamed as we plunged down the drop. Then as the boat settled down and everyone started to get out after all his freaking out he says, 'Let's do that again, mom!"

OMG, that may have been me! Was it two boys, one about 10 (my nephew), the other 3 (my son)?

We were on a tour and it was a small group of six with a tour guide. Someone walking by told his wife to get our picture because we had to be VIP's and they would figure out who we were when they got home. Good luck dude!

A couple were walking across the SplashM bridge and the boyfriend/husband says.. "Hey, look, a train ride." Pointing to BTMRR. Girlfriend/wife.."Oh yeah, is that the one that could take us to Main Street?"

Not really a comment but on SplashM there were two girls sitting behind me and on each hill where you climb they SCREAMED the ENTIRE time! Oh that hurt the ears!!

Yes around that age.

Many moons ago (1984) DH & I went to MK with my inlaws. We were in the Tiki Room. (Haven't been back to Tiki Room so it may have changed since then. ) Anyway, M-I-L kept saying, Oh my gosh, are those birds real? Are they real?!? :rotfl: (she's a little hyper) . Finally convinced her they were not... no feathers, droppings, talked on cue, answered each other, etc. Then, when the thunder & lightening started, FIL said "Well, I knew it was gonna rain cause it was getting dark" Me & DH nearly fell in the floor laughing. :rotfl:

:rotfl:  Ok, this one isn't really that funny unless you were there, but we just got back July 13th and during our trip we were at MGM in the writer's shop and I overheard a women talking to the CM about her luch. She said "I had a the usual good time at Mama Mia's". I laughed under my breath at this comment as she had meant Mama Melrose. My thoughts were this, if she had the "Usual good time" maybe she should have known name considering she had evidently been there before.

A friend of ours overheard a Cast Member at the Hall of Presidents say that "nobody lives in Washington, DC". Washington, DC only has government facilities -- no residents.

Wow!

After much debate and convincing by my DH I decided to post one that unfortunately came out of my mouth. My mom and I were in MK back in 1989. We were tired, so grabbed a drink near a large outdoor stage and sat down on metal benches. (I think we were in Tomorrowland, but no idea where this is or if it even still exists.) Anyway, a show started on the the stage but there were only 10 or so other people around. The curtain went up and there's Mickey, Minnie, Pluto and the crew all standing frozen in place wearing futuristic costumes. I looked at them (I was about 21 at the time) and said far to loud to my mom, "Wow. They don't look real." It wasn't until my mother started laughing, along with the other ten people around, that I realized what a dumb thing that was to say.

we were at wdw in May and one day we got to MGM right at opening and me and my son went straight to Tower of Terror-- we were waiting in line to get on when he says to me ... "I didn't like Haunted Mansion, it's too scary" - i'm thinking, "kid, you think that's scary? what'd you think we're doing here at TOT??!" even the people around us were trying not to laugh - and he's 9 years old!! :rotfl:

These are really fun. When I took my oldest son and his girlfriend to WDW for his high school graduation, we had a long day of driving and flying. We all were excited about seeing the new to us animal kingdom. Jeff fell asleep on the mears bus and woke up just as we were passing a field with a bunch of dairy cows in it. Jeff (18 at the time) woke up, looked out the window and excitedly asked if that was the animal kingdom?!?! No Jeff, just a bunch of dairy cows. LOL Well it became a running joke for the rest of the week. I even scrapbooked pictures of the animal kingdom with stickers of black and white dairy cows. :rotfl: Poor Jeff...........thanks for making me remember.....jan

We decided to walk around the World Showcase one day while were there. I was looking forward the UK store because I just love to shop and I especially like that one of the World Showcase. Anyway, we finally arrived there and some woman was yelling about a show that was about to begin outside the UK store. We smiled and nodded a hello to her but walked right by not really wanting to see the small show. We went into the store and I found myself enjoying the celtic crosses they had. My dad who isn't really as big a shopper as the three of us are, decided to go and take a peak at what this show really is. We said "okay, we will be right out". After a few minutes we decided that we saw everything in the store and walked out to find our dad to get going. It wasn't long before we found him though. I looked at the show and there was my dad, right in the show wearing this yellow vest with a big black "G" on it (standing for "Galahad") I stopped dead in my tracks and it wasn't long before they too had reconized him. Out came our cameras and we clicked away. I couldn't stop laughing because now they had him galloping on an invisible horse. It was a very small show but it was still THE MOST funniest thing to see. After we took about a hundred pictures (and I noticed a second woman search for a "wicked princess" I thought I'd give the store another look. but before I even entered I heard laughter coming from right behind me. My sister who also attempted to enter the store now had a scarf wrapped around her shoulder and was being pulled into the show. Out came the cameras once again and this time I was laughing even harder. My sister had to flicker her eyelashes at my dad in the show. She had to wave her hands around and convince my dad she was not "evil". I still laugh about it today. But like I said, it is so much funnier when you see it happen to your own family!

We were going into MK one time and I overheard a lady on a cell phone no less telling someone that she was just going into Disney World and planned to go directly to Mission Space! She thought all four parks were in one I think.
A boy had to go to the bathroom at AK and his mom pointed to a wooded area and said just go in there!

we were stood on main street waiting for spectro to start.well there was this big group stood behind us all chatting about the dark storm clouds that were heading our way. This one guy said "it's gonna rain in bout 10 minutes,i know cos i can smell it".We had to walk away cos we were laughing so much and they were all staring at the 2 mad women who couldn't stop roaring with laughter!!
To this day i laugh when i see the rain clouds heading in. :umbrella:

When my sister worked at WDW people would come to her and ask what time the 3:00 parade was? :rotfl2:

The funniest thing I've heard wasn't at Disney. I was in King's Dominion and was passing the Nickelodean area when a song started playing that I recognized. My buddy and I looked at each other and said, "It's the 'Happy Happy Joy Joy Song,' excellent!" Then we heard from behind us, "Not when you've heard it for the millionth time this summer!" We turned around and it was a KD CM, looking tiiiiiiired. No doubt, a college kid working for minimum wage..... poor kid :)

I know it sounds funny, but I can also often smell rain approaching, a few minutes in advance. It's especially easy during the summer, so I'd think Florida's heat would make it possible year-round. I can smell snow once in a while, too - again, just a few minutes before it starts.

I feel I have to defend those who ask what time the 3pm parade starts.

I worked at DL in 1989 and part of my job was Guest Control for the Main Street Electrical Parade.

Now, this parade started at one end near Small World and finished at Main Street. For the second parade of the evening, it started at Main Street and worked it's way back to Small World.

So, if you have been in the park for a few days, you would notice that even though the first parade started at 8:30 pm, it wouldn't make it to your spot on Main Street until about 8:45 or 8:51pm or so. If you had a kid who had to use the bathroom or needed a drink, you would need to know if you had time to do so.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I got this question so many times, I had to find a rational reasoning since my guests were otherwise nice and relatively smart people.

Try saying that to a store clerk at the mall during the holidays... that would drive you nuts. Ohh and working the attraction rides, and getting stuck at small world for your first week. Luckily, from what I've heard, they rotate the CM's throughout different rides every day. So you're never stuck for too long.

ok i can not believe im going to repeat my space mountain terror but it was funny

ok like im not into space mountain ok any of those but my thriller family makes me go on the rides once so by now im terrified of tot,rnr and i hadn't rode space but i was pretty sure i would not like it! ok so before the trip i MENTIONED i might go on space MIGHT and she is like ok blah blah blah well when we go to mk we split up into two groups (my mom dad and bro and my group me my aunt and her friend) so we ride splash and we head off to tomarrowland and she is like lets go get fast passes for space ok i thought i had time to calm down or give the tickets to someone else well we arrive there and she sees the time and its like 15 minutes so she PULLED me into the ride while i tried to run out but she pulls me into it until i can not go back and her phone rings it was my dad and he asked where we were she told him and then i got to talk to him well by now i was almost crying in fear and my dad was like you will like it and ill get you something after so i say ok and then we get to the part where you pick the side we go to the one with the longest line. So i am inching toward the exit and then the line picks up and were next and then my aunt says how many and what do you know i got the freaking first seat of the second car! ok by now im about to die and i havent even gone on the ride! so i get in put the restrant down and off we go! well during the whole ride i was screaming not normal im having fun screaming the terrified im going to die scream and my aunt was laughing at me from the last seat of the first car. So i guess i was scaring the lady behind me because she asked if i was ok (i was so embarresed!) and i said a weak yes and after my aunt was teasing me the whole time i was not having a good day! and i got a tink charm thingy that was not enough for me i almost died! i was shaking for 5 minutes but it was funny and my aunt still laughs about it
