We like to take the monorail around the resort loop, but one time I think we got a little ... I don't know, lazy? confused? and rode it around several loops. At one point, the driver announced over the loudspeaker, "Welcome to all of our new passengers, and to our permanent riders - enjoy the same sights all over again."

That made me laugh. So, did you stay on after that or did you finally decide that it's time to get off?

During our trip last October we made sure to ride COP multiple times. It's a sentimental favorite of ours, and there's nothing quite like having that song stuck in your head all day. :rotfl: On our first ride we were greeted by an older CM and ushered into the room along with quite a few other people. The CM picks up the microphone and asks how many were riding COP for the first time. Much to our surprise we were the only veterans on the ride. The CM then announced that the newbies were in for a great treat. He cautioned them to make sure they were in a seat with a working seatbelt and to pick up their 3D glasses from underneath their seats in order to fully and safely enjoy the show. We fell out of our chairs laughing, as did the CM, as we watched the newbies lean underneath their chairs to find those much-needed glasses. :lmao:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have heard that on other rides before, it's funny everytime.

Disclaimer...No offense to you NYC folks, but I found this extremely funny.

This was said to me by a waiter at Wolfgang Puck Express during our recent trip(last week)...

The waiter came over after we sat down and after chatting for about a minute or so, asked where we were from. I told him Buffalo. He then responded "Well that makes sense because if you were from NYC, you would have told me to buzz off by now".:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Then, they indicated they wanted pics of each of them with me and my DS!!! They pretty much insisted, so I smiled and let them. I figure our pictures are in Japan or someplace like that in some photo album. I can see them showing their vacation pics to friends and family and telling them about the young lady that took their picture while they rode the monorail!!! That was too strange!! But I still laugh about it today! :earboy2:

When I was in Greece a few years ago, a Japanese girl asked a friend of mine to pose for a picture with her in Delphi. We thought it was funny - now she can go home and tell everyone about the American girl she met in Delphi. :cutie:

It drove us crazy, but last time we went to DisneyWorld (2005), my dad put in that he wanted a Goofy hat. Everywhere we went, everyone we saw, everytime he saw someone with a Goofy hat, he yelled, "They get to wear a Goofy hat. Why can't I wear a Goofy hat?" We got some very, very strange looks (not that we're not used to those by now) before we finally got that man a Goofy hat to hush him up!

Well, whats wrong with that?????

Every year, I get a new grumpy hat!!

Got a couple new ones this weekend:

1) Man and woman standing together at MK in front of the large sign that says something like "Welcome to Toontown!" and the man has his map open, lost in concentration, remarking "I just need to find out where we are!" (I suppose he probably wanted to know where they were on the map, but it was still funny)

2) Mother and daughter walking out of Asia from Kali, looking rather wet. The mother and daughter and walking very close to the nearby fountain that shoots water out , so the mother pulls they both out of its range, and says "Careful where you walk, I don't want to get wet!"

okay its not mine but i think it is hysterical!!

a friend of mine was in line for haunted mansion, and the little girl in front of him was upset, telling her dad she didnt want to go on the ride.. he told her it was a restaurant, and she was okay, until they got into the stretch room.. she started screaming THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT!! THIS IS NOT A RESTAURANT!! :rotfl: so funny!!

I got the top hat, and I kept forgetting that I had it on until people would make Goofy comments. I had kids making fun of me. :rotfl2: :goofy:

I always liked them, but the only place you can pull off wearing them is that the parks!!

Thats why I go for the ball caps, and they are getting pretty good, that you really have to look at them to realize they are Disney!!
