With nearly 4 months to go I decided to try and make my own invitations. As we are only inviting 6 people it wont be a huge task. I've been shopping and got some supplies. I decided to use a pink rose as the theme as that's what we are having for our flowers. Pink seems to be a bit of a theme to.
I'd like to know your thought, this is my first attempt:

I don't have a huge amount to post really, nearly everything to do with the wedding is sorted now. We just have to go and get our rings and sort out the welcome bags. I go for my dress fitting a week today, fingers crossed it will fit

I've sent out the invites today, everyone will be surprised to receive them as we already know who is attending but I thought it was a nice touch.

I'm now trying to decide on the welcome bag stuff.
I have some nice wooden fans for the ladies, not sure what to get the guys yet. Then we'll add tissues, mints, bubbles, miniture lotions, a small candle, maps etc. We're also adding everyones favourite chocolate from home.

I have noted down in my diary to call Disney on the 1st September to organise the Wishes cruise, fingers crossed we'll get what we want. I was lucky with the ADR's, I called as soon as they opened and got Victoria and Alberts for our wedding dinner and CRT for breakfast the day after.

Sounds like things are coming along brilliantly! Victoria and Alberts will be a lovely place for your dinner. We're contemplating booking the Fireside Room for our reception.

Hi, I'm back after my dress fitting and it went really well. They didn't have to do any alterations! I would like to loose a couple of inches off my butt but other than that it fit well. I took my shoes with me and they said the length was good too.

Here's a couple of pics:

I just need to find a tiara that I like and I'll be good to go.

I'm looking forward to hearing all about your wedding and seeing your photos! My DH and I are planning a Vow Renewal at WDW in 2009 for our 25th anniversary and Sunset Pointe is our favourite location. We visited it about a month ago when we were at WDW and it is a beautiful spot - ideal for a small wedding (or VR).

YAY, we had our dress fitting on the same day Your dress is beautiful, I love those mermaid style dresses and I just love the lace embellishment. What kind of tiara do you have in mind? Do you know how you're wearing your hair yet?

Thank you for your comments, I really fell in love with the dress. It's hanging up in our bedroom right now. I'm a big bag so David can't see it.

I'm definately wearing my hair up and I'm not wearing a veil. I'd love a proper princessy tiara, just haven't fount the right one yet. I did see a nice one by Halo & Co but they didn't have it in the store today.

Emma, You and your dress are perfect together. You look very lovely, and no you do not need to loose a couple of inches from any place. I love the lace.

Your invitations are very pretty. The rose really works perfect with your theme.

Last November when we arrived at the Polynesian we were taken to our room in the Hawaii building which is near Sunset Point. We looked look out our window to see our view. There was a wedding just staring on the point, it was such a beautiful day, the water was a deep blue, the sky was clear with little puffy white clouds. After the wedding was over and they were taking pictures it begin to rain, bridal party had umbrellas for everyone. It only rained for a few minutes then the largest double rainbow directly over the couple. It was so beautiful.

I imagine you both are getting very excited. What all do you have left beside your tiara?

Hi everyone,

I'm not going to post a full trippie as it's nearly the holidays but I will post pics.
We had a fantastic time with only a few bumps in the road, namely the best man forgetting his suit and being moved from Sunset Pointe to the wedding pavillion about 30 mins before getting married. It was the only day that we had bad weather but it was too bad for an outdoor ceremony as it was humid and wet. The wedding pavillion was beautiful though and the view of the castle through the glass window will be in my memory forever.
