Fund Raiser Basket Ideas

Very thoughtful.:goodvibes I recently saw a wine and chocolate basket that looked heavenly!! Just so decadent; it was perfect!!

After having done 2 large fundraising events in the last 2 years and several other small ones, I agree on the previous posts- all great ideas. Alot of businesses, if you ask, will donate something from their business, maybe a gift card, if you offer to make sure they are acknowledged at the event. A nice sign, listing all the major donors, Thanking them, and asking the guests to do business with them, when they have the opportunity.
Our daughter had Leukemia (2009-2010) and we did fundraisers for her and also marrow drives. We now do an annual event, called Trees of Hope WI. We have local businesses, groups, individuals sponsor, donate and decorate Themed Christmas Trees, wreaths, baskets, etc. A full-day festival. Everything gets auctioned /raffled and in Nov 2012-we raised over $22,000 for the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society, Blood Center and Be The Match. Check out pics on Pinterest- Trees of Hope WI, also on the web, FB,YouTube. Our goal this year is $50K. So fun to see the creativity, last year had a Garfield Tree, HarleyDavidson Tree, BabyTree, UWWisconsin Tree, Tinkerbell Tree(2), Aveda Tree, Baseball baskets, movie baskets, sports items. Lots of work-but so worth it. This year we already have supplies for a Pixar Cars tree, Hershey Tree, Angel Tree, Barbie Tree, and several more. People Love it.Hope to build this in cities across the country to help fight blood cancers.

Dunno what university you're associated with. However, sports baskets featuring our colleges and universities always go over well. Maybe you can get your football or basketball team to chip in with a couple of tickets. Throw in a few T-Shirts, sweatshirts, bobbleheads and other sports goodies, and you'll make a killing. :)

Good luck. I'm a sucker for a gift basket for charity. Won a few in my life; spent a lot more winning them.

We recently won a Camping Basket from my daughter school. It had smore supplies, bug spray, flashlight, matches, log starters and a ton of other things and it was wrapped in a small cooler. It was really cute. The chocolate basket was also a hit with people as well as the rainy Saturday basket movies, games, hot cocoa, throw blanket, Red Box gift card etc very cute.

Just did this in two different venues for school fundraising. About 20 baskets at each event.

Both events.....

Zombie Apocalypse Preparedness baskets were the most popular. :rotfl2::confused3
