i broiled filet mignons saturday night, they were so tender and delicious.

i broiled filet mignons saturday night, they were so tender and delicious.

I didn't broil them after all. I did bake some potatos. I just panned seared the steak in a iron skillet then left them on real low in the hot pan. Worked great.

1. do you first wait until your on fumes because you dread getting out in the cold to pump gas.

2.do you sometimes cheat and not fill your tank up all the way because you hate standing outside in the cold.

I think it works like clock work that when the temp is -25 I am on empty. Because of where I live and where the gas stations are, I can go home twice with the gas light on.

But when it's cold I just try to walk around while the gas pumps. I always fill the tank to full and run it to empty because I don't want to make extra trips or stops at the gas stations.

Thinking about gasoline though I had this thought the other day. One of the things I hate when I fill up in Cali or Nevada is the tube around the nozzle to suck up fumes.

I didn't just fill up my car but also a can(jug) to fill the tractor with so I could snow blow the driveway. How would I fill that with the anti fume nozzle? Anyone had to do this?

The funny thing was I used to always get gas in Idaho if I was shopping there. It would save me about 10 to 15 cents. But then they added a new gas tax and it is always within a couple cents higher of lower than near me.

that's actually good. we are paying $3.40 for low grade unleaded, $3.70 for premium. we were over $5.00 a gallon on diesel at one point. out in the villages they are paying anywhere from $11.00 up a gallon. i am off to girl scouts, back soon.

Does AK have refineries? That's one of our advantages, with a low population we produce enough oil and gas to supply the our state and export the rest. Granted near me, I think the fuels come from Salt Lake City.
