Tday definitely yes!!! Bday- don't really celebrate it that often. Plus this year it falls on a Saturday. Normally, that would be great, but I'll be at the end of training for the WDW Marathon and the next morning I have a 20-22 mile run, so I"ll even be going to bed early!

Kimmy, do something fun, maybe a sporting event or show of some type. Treat yourself to some new running shoes or something more fun to wear!

I watched Community this morning. I'm thinking the monkey is trained and working for Chang. That's my theory. I didn't get what they were referencing when they kept mentioning at the beginning, this is the bottle episode though.

Kimmy, I'm not sure what you mean about the reference. I was a little distracted for the beginning and now wish I hadn't deleted it since I recorded and watch after DS was asleep, argh. I did think the monkey was funny at the end though. But Chang's? Hmmm I'll be keeping an eye out on that one.

Funny story about that.......santa brought me a mommy and a daddy fish one year well we didnt know it had laid eggs and christmas they hatched by the next day......all my fishies were gone except the daddy who got chunky....then the daddy died from eating too much fishy dinner. Really sad actually.

THey are Mollies so they do not lay eggs. We woke up and found 3 then I found another 2. We ahve not seperated them. If they get eaten then they do. I had no idea she was pregnant, but she looks like it today. Also the other molly has been all over so I am guessing we will have more babies in a few months. I am also guess that the rest of her babies were eaten since they give birth to 10-60 and we have only found 5. Although I hear the fry can hide in the gravel. We will see.

That's pretty awesome. Mollies are really easy to bread. You can also transition them to live in Salt Water? Pretty cool huh?

I'm not positive but don't mollie fry stay in the mouth of the male? Or maybe the male carries them. I haven't studied fresh water fish in over a dozen years, but I think Mollies do something odd like that.

If you can you can you can put the fry in a seperate tank of even a tub which you suspend in the tank to it's top is at the water surface. Fry won't eat flake food so you prabably need to go to Petsmart and get special food. It's brine shrimp but really small.

Anyway if you are interested in breeding them, you can be selective and make you own style of fish, like European royalty did with dogs. But it is a lot of work.
