Jenn we were talking recipes via text.

Ok here is what I have for quick easy appetizers:

I like to put salsa over cream cheese, its fast and easy!

1 jar of you favorite salsa, 1 block of cream cheese, put cream cheese on plate and pour salsa over it


Another one have is the chili cream cheese dip, this is a classic recipe that is been handed down generation to generation in my family

In a crock pot or a pan set on low, put like 3 cans of chilli, 1 block of cream cheese and a hand full of shredded cheese, and stir might need to bump up to medium to melt it, but stir it and don’t over boil it! and wants its mixed its hot enough to serve! I serve it with chips!

My mom used to make pepperoni balls when we were little. You take biscuits, like the Pillsbury ones, and cut them into 4s. Then you take sliced pepperoni(round slices like on pizza), or a stick if you want, and cut those into 4s. Then you wrap the biscuits around the pepperonis and pop them into the oven at 450 for 5-6 minutes and you're good to go. Each can of biscuits makes about 40 little bites.

Another one that I've seen at parties is a round sourdough loaf with the top cut off and the inside of the bread torn out. You put Spinach dip inside the hole of the loaf. You then take a thin baguette and slice it up and there's your dipping thingy for the dip!

Ok soo I am house sitting my brothers house this weekend., and so just like kim, I got a massive amount of counter and work space and a nice gas stove(thermodore proffesional series) to work on. Now I was thinking of doing something super inexepensive like hotdogs and pasta salad (my favorite is from the box!) and so I might still go with that idea.. but I think it might be kinda cold for bbq hotdogs..

hopefully if i do hot dogs there is mayo in the fridge.. they always forget to leave me at least one bottle of mayo!

noo not really...but when they go to the lake they take the mayo with them.. but they usually have two bottles open...

Oh jenn, guess what? .. I didn’t watch it either. I needed to pack for my “weekend getaway” to my brothers “resort”(his house)... please no more taylor swift… She gives me a headache. like is it just me but I notice that her songs on the radio she sings fine but when she sings live (like at an awards show) she doesn’t sound that great and she is off key…so I didn’t watch it cause I knew that she’d be singing, and I just did not have the time, besides my mom is Hot into Oprah right now and she was watching the Oprah special where she interviewed Michael Jacksons mom and i could not just take the remote from her, that would been mean

Also Taylor Swift is over played and she sounds whiney. I hope she goes away soon. Guess what..... I have Judds tickets. I can not wait. One more month and then I get to see them!

Yeah few people sounds great when they sing live anymore. Everything is very studio enhanced when they record.

So. I have to tell you all something funny. Ok so my mom has been baby sitting and helping out with my brother and his new twins(they were born like 8 pounds each now they weigh about 14 each)..and so every since she started baby sitting and stuff she has been hot into daytime tv. And she NEVER watches day time tv… and so she has been really into The Drs., DR. oz, Oprah, And I think Access Hollywood and Food network.. Anyhow it’s just funny to hear her go “I was watching oprah today while feeding morgan and she was helping a group of people get a new car”..etc.. and then she will tell me how she was watching Rachel ray and Rachel (like they are best buds already) make this super duper recipe and of course my mom wants to make everything she makes.. it’s just funny..and my mom she is in her late 60’s

:furious: I just realized that I had gotten my weeks mixed up.. I thought this week was next week, and I told my best friend Elaine I could not make it to her candlelite party!! Uhoh.. .oh well. I probably can’t go next week anyway. I might be house sitting again.
