Funai Golf Transportation

We just got back from our trip. We were at WDW during the Funai Golf Tournament and considered going over to watch. I called Disney Information to ask about bus transportation to the Golf Tournament (at the Magnolia/Palm Golf Courses) and was told there was none (direct or via connections). This surprised me and we decided to do something else.

For future reference, I have a few questions:

If I remember correctly the courses are near the Grand Floridian. Is it a reasonable walk from GF to the courses?

Are there buses that run to Shades of Green (that would be really close), or is SoG currently closed?

If you drive a car, where do you park (TTC, Epcot)? There must be bus service from parking to the course.

There was transportation provided, just not by Disney. Transportation was based out of Epcot. So you could take a bus there, or park your car there, and then they'd have a shuttle that would take you over.

Otherwise... you could walk to Shades of Green from the Polynesian.
