Fun While Waiting In Line Ideas...

I will be going back to Disney this September after about 5 years (finally - so excited)
It will be 2 friends of mine and their 5 yo son and I am wondering if anyone has tips of things to keep him (and us) occupied while standing in line.

Anyone have any really great ideas?

One year I brought a chinese jumprope to play cats cradle with and that kept us entertained for a while...

We're taking our 6 yr old son and I"m going to tell him ahead of time about hidden mickey's and have him help us look for some!

I Spy and 20 questions are good games that you don't have to pack anything for.

Pipe cleaners work great to kill time. The 5 year old will make allsorts of things with them and they are cheap.

We went last year in September when my DD was still only 4. I did nothing extra to keep her entertained other than looking at all the things around us. The ques are so well decorated that you don't even have time to see everything they have designed in them! The waits were never longer than 20 minutes (except of course for Toy Story Mania) so there was never any time to get bored.

I seen a lot of people with bubbles. I always have snacks on hand so this doubles as our wait time/snack time.

I've heard NOT to bring bubbles.

Apparently some people can be allergic and with the bubbles wafting out of your control, you really can't help who they might pop on or near.

We will be visiting with a fidgety 8 yr old and a newly turned 3 yr old. I plan on doing hidden mickeys, I spy, etc. Although, I also really like the pipe cleaners. My only concern with that is that I will have 900 pipe cleaner creations that I just "HAVE to keep, Mommy, its my masterpiece"! LOL
