Not too much rain in August? Now that's a reason to celebrate! The weather seemed fairly nice this August in Florida all things considering. Hope to see more like it in the future.

You really do make AI sound really cool. I'll have to see if I can talk the rest of the family into giving it a try. My dad's a big AI watcher but my mom doesn't like the show so this should be interesting to see if we made it there or not.

Yes, I'm glad I have a new PTR to keep me entertained now.

It was so nice to not have a ton of rain (though we did see a lot of dark clouds). We really lucked out.

You should give AIE a shot. I know I've said it before but I think you'd enjoy it even if you aren't really into American Idol.

I agree with you on the weather. It was hot but definitely doable, especially with a mid-afternoon break. The only thing I really worried about before our trip in August was the possibility of a hurricane. I think I spent the whole two weeks before glued to the weather channel.

So glad you enjoyed AI! I can't wait to see it on our next trip!

I'm sad it's over too but it was fun sharing our trip with everyone.

I know for a few days there was a threat of some tropical storms but fortunately everything fizzled out.

Hi Sarah!

Finally all caught up! The final day and leaving is always so sad , but at least you have another trip to look forward to! WL looked like a beautiful resort and we'll need to try and catch the Electrical Water Pageant next year!

Our plans are coming along too! We now have our flights booked and are going for 17 nights now, so we'll have 3 full weekends in Disney - hurry up countdown ticker!!!

Yes, that is true, it's always nice to have another trip coming up. April can't get here soon enough! haha Definitely go to the water pageant if you get the chance. But if you're there for 17 nights maybe that won't be too difficult.

I just got back here and read your last two updates. I hate that trip back to MCO too! It's always so sad. Then when you get back into the real world its like a shock to your system. I'm always shocked at how icky the bathrooms seem at the airport compared to Disney's perfectly clean ones!

Haha, this is one of my fears! I'm going to go to Disney and step into a store like TrenD and then go crazy wanting to buy every single bag there. I actually already have 2 Mickey bags ... one is a Disney Couture tote for $5 (I'm so surprised I found it and then later saw how much it was going for on Ebay!) and another is a brown barrel bag that looks a little Louis Vuitton-ish but has Mickey ears and MM on it instead. But I can always use more!

Bummed that your TR is officially over, but it's comforting to know that there's another in the near future! I'm getting all excited to write mine too!

It is really sad...once I'm at the airport I'm usually fine (well, maybe not...lol) but getting off the grounds and bus is so depressing.

LOL! The one I got was actually from one of the stores at Animal Kingdom but yeah, Tren-D had some cool stuff in there. Have you seen the thread about the Disney Dooney & Bourke bag? A little too expensive for my tastes but still super cute!!

Yup! I saw it and thought, "Oh, maybe I'll splurge on that instead!" Then I saw the price and was like, "Um, I can buy a bag for every day of the week instead!" The most expensive bag I own is a black hobo bag from Gap that cost $40, and that's only because I use it for everything!
