Fun money?

Does Universal have anything similar to Disney Dollars? My son is wanting money for Christmas for our March trip and wants to spend it at the Harry Potter section. I was thinking it would be fun if they had something similar. Otherwise I might just make up an envelope with some HP clip art. Any ideas?

if they are still being sold, it would probably be at guest services in the park.
you can send an email to guest services and ask them if the Universal Dollars are still being sold.
when i did buy them back in 09, i had to exchange them back to regular currency at gs, that is if i had any left.

I think they only really give out Universal Dollars if you take a survey nowadays.

They've seemed to switch over to the gift cards which you can buy in pretty much every store in the parks. You can load it up with as little as $5 and I believe it goes up to $500. You'll have to forgive me, I don't work in merchandise too much...

i haven't seen much of the universal dollars in the past two years.
a few times i did receive the universal bucks for surveys, but haven't done anymore of them the last 2 years.


the gift cards are the way to go now.
i bought a lot of them for $5 for the picture on them.
nice souvie......

the hotel room keys had quite a few similar pictures that the gc have.

op, order the gc and only put $5 on them.
might be a fun thing to give your child if you can't find the UO dollars.
