Fun little romance at Disney?

Disney is awesome! I know many couples go on "dates" there or do some sort of special adventure together. My husband and I are taking my daughter and her boyfriend. They are not 21 yet, my husband doesn't drink, and I only have the occasional drink here and there. We will be there for 8 days total. There will be times that my husband and I will go off and do our own thing and leave my daughter and her boyfriend to "explore/do" the parks at their own leisure. Yes, it's amazing just to be there with the rides, great restaurants and shows. Do you know of/have you heard of fun, romantic little things to do, see, experience in the parks that would make for a special memory that is a bit different from the 'regular day at the park?'

-Have you been on a special date with your special someone and something really stuck out to you?
-Have you completed some sort of "couples challenge" in the parks?
-Have you done something that sticks out that is totally couple related?
-is there a "place that's romantic" that sticks out to you?
-Is there a Picture (or pictures) you get with the two of you? (we have photopass...can we do anything fun with that?)

This is our first time going without "kids to run after" and first time as two couples going. We've been to Disney SEVERAL times, but this is a whole new world for us and I'm looking to change it up a bit. I know you all are brilliant and have some pretty amazing ideas.

Also, not looking for activities or ideas that are expensive! I'd love a $500 boat ride and fire works, but it's not in the budget for either of us!!! Trying to get "sweet/simple, fun, memorable, maybe a bit different from the norm" type of tips.

We'll be there over Valentines, my daughters birthday and celebrating upcoming college graduation in May.

Magic shots are always fun! I have always thought to myself that I would love a date night at the parks of playing Toy Story Mania for some good natured competition and then a cheesy but fun dinner at Sci Fi. Sitting in the dark, in a car, pretending not to notice the couple right behind you. Someday lol.

Where are you staying? There may be something special at your resort. Just walks at night holding hands on quiet paths would be romantic. Or an out of the way place to watch the EWP or fireworks.

OOOOOO Magic Shots??? Now I need to look into those! Are they included in photo pass? hmmmm. That sounds like tons of fun.

"Sunset Cruise" on the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs from POR.

Doesn't cost a penny and such fun! :drinking:

My wife and I had a date night the last time we were there, it was awesome. We went to MK and strolled around the park, going with the flow. We took a ride on the railroad around the park, and when it got to the entrance I started yelling at the top of my lungs, welcoming everyone to the MK! Nothing more romantic than acting like a kid at WDW!

Maybe go to a favourite park, do something you wouldn’t normally do (even if it’s something small like buying a special dessert/treat, or buying a small memento)?

The ambiance in the Mexico pavilion and at San Angel Inn in Epcot felt very romantic for me and the husband one night :)

Just world showcase in general at night felt pretty romantic to me, actually!
