We've read a lot of great things about this restaurant in all three of our Disney books...anyone been there?
Thanks for your help!!

We ate at Fulton's last July. We had a great meal and the service was also very good. It is a bit more pricey. You will get some different opinions here on this one. Some say its dirty and the service is horrible. We did not find that at all.

Welcome to the Dis.:wave2:

We love it. It is very expensive and may not be worth the price depending on how the experiance goes with the meal. Our was worth every penny as we had a great meal, a great waitress, wonderful wine, and a nice window view. It worked out great for us.

HAD A WONDERFUL MEAL LAST JUNE AND MY TWO BOYS 3 AND 7 AT THE TIME WERE VERY WELL BEHAVED GENTLEMEN. I'M SURE THIS ADDED TO THE OVERALL GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT WE HAD A FULTONS. I HAVE RESSIES FOR NEXT MON NITE. CAN'T WAIT.. REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING BACK AND WALKING AROUND DD WHEN FINISHED OUR MEAL..

We have a PS at Fultons next month. Can't wait! ::MickeyMo

Over-rated. Food was only so-so. I'd have been angry, but half of it was on expense account.

Goes to show that you can't always rely on the Guidebooks for dining advice!!

Fulton's has perhaps (no--for sure) the worst service of any WDW restaurant.
I don't think it's dirty and the food is pretty good. But I know pitiful service when I see it, and I've seen it 4 times at Fulton's.

We were there in December and LOVED it... our service was wonderful (I guess they have good and bad days) and the food was great!!!!

We also like Fultons very much. We have always had very good food, service and friendly CMs. We enjoy both lunch and dinner in the restaurant and also enjoy just going and having drinks and appetizers in the lounge before going to PI for the evening.

We went there for a birthday celebration, and I was truly disappointed. The food was acceptable; however, the service was the worst I've ever seen. For instance, our server was too busy "flirting" with another table to bring refills for our drinks-even though we had asked three times. Two of the entrees which he described where nothing like he told us when they came to the table. In fact, we asked him if we had the correct order. Everyone has the own opinion, but I don't think that we'll return.

we've eaten ther 2X and had great food both time. The service the 1st was slow but her was very appologetic. they were very clearing shorthanded and the kitchen was backed up.

The second time the service was great. I've never seen it "dirty" I have read complaints about the windows being cloudy, but hey it is Fl in the summer. All I noticed on the windows was condesation .

Sorry, we had a very blah meal there and our waitress was the PITS. She made it seem as if we were bothering her with simple requests. It was VERY overpriced and I would not even consider the food mediocre. With all the dining choices WDW has to offer - I would skip this one for sure.

Ate there on our last evening of our trip in July 2003 - everyone else had a great meal - just trust me and stay away from the Dungeous (sp?)Crab! The later part of the evening was horrible and I know it was because of the crab!! Extremely sick!! But aside from the "crab" incident my family loves it!

Another Fulton Crab House dissenter here. The service is shameful. Our waiter, on the last visit, was down right rude when I mentioned he had spilled all the drawn butter for my lobster all over the plate. The food is mediocre, at best considering the prices. There are so many better places to dine. I doubt we'll ever return to Fulton's. I wish they'd bring back the Empress Lilly.

I wish they'd bring back the Empress Lilly.

I couldn't agree more. Sure miss it!

Can't recommend Fulton's -- dirty, rude service and poor quality seafood.

We just had our 9th meal there in March. We never go to WDW without eating at Fulton's. This past meal there were 9 of us and everyone enjoyed the meal except one person, she can't eat shell fish. Go figure, it is a crab house, of course alot of the meals are shell fish. We have never had any horrible service. We do not return to a resturant after 2 times of either poor service or poor food. So for us, even with the price being on the high side, we always go back.

DH & ! have had wonderful meals and service at Fulton's! Yes, it is a little pricey, but we have always had very attentive waitstaff and great food. We try not to miss it when we are at WDW.

Last month my DH and I had our one-year anniversary dinner at Fulton's. We were seated in under 2 minutes, at a perfect table with a perfect view. We were also presented with an anniversary card from the staff. Our waiter provided not only the best service of the trip, he was likely the best waiter we have ever had anywhere! And I do not say that lightly! The restaurant seemed extremely clean (even the bathrooms) and the view was gorgeous. It was a tad noisy, but that is not the restaurant's fault--they are hardly going to discipline someone else's screaming child. But it's Disney, kids in restaurants are a given! The food was excellent, especially the milk chocolate creme brulee. I am glad I did not let the bad reviews scare me off because it was an A++ experience and a wonderful anniversary dinner. Hope you have a great time, whatever you decide. :wave2:

Glad to hear of your positive experience(s)! We are thinking of getting PS for our 7th anniversary in Novemeber (w/o the kid!) It's our first trip to DW as a family, we usually go to Charleston, SC, so I will definitely be missing the seafood...my fave! I am not really concerned about prices, I just want to be assured that the quality is top-notch. (I can even overlook bad service if the food is great!) Thanks for all the great posts and please, keep them coming! DH isn't that crazy about fish, so all the positives I have in my corner will help.

Thanks,
Lisa

My partner and I truly enjoy Fulton's. We haven't been there in the past couple of trips simply because of all the other overwhelming and terrific restaurants available. I did, however, make PS arrangement to dine there once again during our trip next month.

We've never had bad food or service. Then again, I readily admit that I usually order the least complex item: broiled lobster. Joe doesn't typically order much more then steak, pork/veal chops or lamb. Kind of tough to screw those up as well. Only once did I ever have anything remotely close to poor service. He was a bit slow and seemed oddly nervous.

I nipped it in the bud at the beginning by quietly speaking to the manager just so that he'd know I was aware that we might get bad service. By the by, I was NOT complaining to him by any means. I'm not that harsh! LOL. Anyway, he told me he was glad I said something, and then asked me whether I'd like a new table or new waiter. It seemed our server was brand spanking new, it was his first day, and we were his first guests.

Well, hearing that, Joe and I immediately started making mild jokes, getting him engaged in light conversation, assuring a higher comfort level. He did a great job and we tipped him well.

That's as bad as it ever got for us!
