Fulton's Crab House Opinions

Count me in as another HUGE fan of Fulton's! We go every year and are never disappointed. I have had no problem whatsever with the service and have enjoyed my meal every time.

For those of you worried about the price, I would just like to let you know that you can order half portions of some dishes. I just love the King Crab Claws but find that $50 a little pricey; the CM pointed out I could just get a half order; here's what it looked like:

Those claws were meaty and the perfect serving size!:thumbsup2

That looks soooo good!

And that picture doesn't show how BIG they are!!! :thumbsup2

Hi

I made an ADR for Fultons, based solely on the reccomendations of fellow Diser's. I focused on the good ones, we are far from seafood extrodinaires, so the " it's not the same as_______" or "it's not as good as ___" does not matter to us ~ we have only eaten in two WDW restaurants, ever. (CRT and CP)

I was looking for a one -of-a-kind experiance, with food that my Party will all eat. i am super excited and cannot wait to dine there :) :thumbsup2
69 more days until we finally get to try Fultons! :hippie:

What a great attitude! I hope you enjoy it--it is one of our favorites.

Just got back yesterday, and ate at Fulton's this past week. It was as fabulous as ever. The somellier recommended a fab wine we splurged on, we split a caesar and the bisque, and then got the crab claws of course...it was wonderful!!

I always get the crab claws and usually it's about 8-11 claws... but it's by weight and I've also gotten like 7 of them but they were HUGE!!!

I just ate there last week to make up to my b/f for the lobster being off the menu at Capn Jack's. Let's just say that next time I won't even bother with the lobster - the King Crab claws were soooo much better. We had a lovely meal, ate outside and had a fantastic server and watched the sun set. The food was fabulous and the crab claws were huge and so yummy. Have a great time!

This is just what our server warned us. "Dont bother with a combo. You will just want the crab claws." She was right adn we never made that mistake again. CRAB CLAWS ONLY!

We thought we'd try it for our anniversary night and afterward wished we hadn't. Yes, the picture is right on. You get some nice seafood, but nothing to speak of with it. Just a few lumps of boiled red potatoes that aren't even cut and seasoned with anything. I was highly disappointed and won't go back there again. :sad2:

I took my mom to dinner there in July. She had the lobster & crab claw combo and said it was the best she'd had outside of Maine. I don't understand the bad reviews, but it doesn't seem to hurt them much. The place was still packed at 10pm.

Besides, these days,if you want lobster or actual crab (not mushy-overmayoed-mix) on Disney property,it's Fulton's or Narcoosee's for you.

Warning though, it did cost me more for only entrees & drinks than a full meal (appetizer+entrees+desserts+drinks) at California Grill.

P.S. : The lemons at Fulton's wear panties.

ETA : HeyIt'sDeb is right on about the sides. The shellfish comes with potatoes. The rest of the menu (like my mahi-mahi) comes with NOTHING. If you want a side of veggies with your fish you have to order it separately.

On the sides - we had one of the better side dishes of the entire vacation served with our meal. It was a mini-cast iron skillet of hash brown potatoes!:goodvibes

Yes, many high end restaurants serve sides a la carte. This is not uncommon. A quick look at the online menus for various on site restaurants will tell you which signature restaurants offer sides a la carte. It's the same at Yachtsman Steakhouse as well.

Depending on the restaurant and the sides, I am ok with a la carte. I hate it when someone has a la cart for just french fries or something trivial like that.

It has been almost 2 months and DH is still drooling on the king crab claws....I decided to book dinner there in January and then again in March.....they are super good but man give me the fried lobster tail anyday!

We've been tossing around the idea of going back to our top 4 most favorite restaurants in October and DH has already said, Fulton's & blueZoo had better be on that list!:)
