Hi there!

New to this board. We just booked our air tix to Orlando for Feb 2008.

Now we are looking for accomodations. Specifically, we are looking for somewhere in Orlando that has a full kitchen or atleast a microwave, fridge and stove top. We are not big on eating out and also want to save some cash on the food and stay close to our original diet.

I find eating out for a whole week makes you feel pretty crappy.

Anyway, we are looking for accomodations with kitchen. Also, we want spend a moderate amount (not a ton of cash) per night.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

We love renting a condo. I've found excellent rates renting from owners in the Grand Palms and Villas at Island Club resorts in Kissimmee, in the Lindfields development. 10-15 minutes into the parks, maximum. Try vacationrentals.com and VRBO.com . I've posted a review of the condo where we stayed on the review section of this forum.

There's lots to choose from. You can go to vrbo.com and look in the Kissimmee area. There's some reviews for Grand Palms that have been good and it doesn't cost a lot.

Take a look on the review boards for Grand Palms and others.

There's also Windsor Hills, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Encantada, Terra Verde etc etc. with condos and townhouses. If you look on the above vrbo link you can scroll down through all the subdivisions.
Here's a map to show you where they are:

Grand Palms and the others except Terra Verde are on the west side of I-4.
It all depends on what you want: condo, townhouse, separate pool home, the area you want to be in, and the amenities you want. It takes a while to search through everything. Good luck! :)

We booked Caribe Cove through Book It. For around $100/per night we're getting a 3/2 condo. This place is brand new but the few reviews I've seen on Trip Advisor say it's beautiful. And the kitchen is lovely in the photos: granite counter tops, side-by-side fridge, all appliances and cookware, etc.

also check redweek.com some really great deals. what are your dates?

First off...:welcome: to the boards!!!
Any of the suite hotels like Staybridge suites or Residence Inn will have full kitchens. They also offer free breakfast. Cost will be all over depending on whether you get a deal or not and when you go. Probably around $140 for a 2 bedroom.
