Full Hook Up or Preferred?

I've now found out that I can upgrade our full hook up site to preferred for about $7.00 a day. I can't decide what to do.

We've never hooked up the cable in our camper, but I guess it would be nice to see the weather report, and I'm sure the kids would love to have their cartoons. But it's not a necessity.

I know that the preferred loops are closer to the marina, but how far are they from a pool? And are they noisy loops?

I'd love to hear pro's and con's.

BTW, it's myself, DH and our boys 9 and 11 -- who will probably spend a lot of time on their bikes and at the arcade. We'll all want to use the pool.

We much prefer the full hook up sites to the preferred. We would much rather have easier access to the pool, bike barn ,campfire and meadows. When we need to go down by the lake we just ride our bikes or the golf cart. We are hardly in our camper when we are there.

Go for the 1400 loop, we like it much better than the other preferred. You're right there almost on top of the Meadow Recreation Area.

I'm the DH... My wife got me hooked in here.. but I won't admit it ... This is my first post. We have camped at the 300 loop, as we wanted a preferred site to view TV. Hate to admit it, but we're NASCAR rednecks... We LOVED it. We also had our dog with us and we were right next to the pet walk by the canal. It was very peaceful...except for the frogs and chameleons chirping all night ... Not many of those here in PA.
