FTP effect on summer crowds?

We're going late August, usually a relatively manageable crowd time. I'm wondering how the FTP will affect summer attendance. D'ya think it's going to be an especially busy summer, or will the FTP just bring WDW attendance back to "normal"? Any indications so far?

I was wondering the same thing, kind of a double edged sword....I am hoping the attendance picks up for the co.'s/shareholders sakes, and I would hate to see Disney quality ever suffer, but when you are at the parks you always hope the crowds are right B4 and right after you! Lets hope for lots of trip reports to give us an ides! Hopefully park hours will be adjusted to reflect the room/package ressies!

Scince the FTP is starting during the summer ... I bet the majority of vacationers will choose to go during the typical summer break period.

Attendance really starts to wain towards the end of August. Schools are starting back up and people just don't want to take thier kids out of school when it has just started.

We are going Labor Day week 'cause my kids are little and missing a few days of school has not yet become an issue with them.

I'm trying not to worry too much about it because I know it certainly won't be as crowded as July!
