Buffets are always a good choice for large groups, especially one with kids. However, Trail's End is really pretty simple (fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad bar, pizza). It's also a pain to get to. We enjoyed our meal, but probably won't return.
We're looking forward to doing this on our next trip.
One thing I did notice a few days ago is that the price has gone up - lunch is now $14.99 and dinner is $20.99.
Just incase anyone wants the menu link, here it is: http://allears.net/menu/menu_teb.htm
By the way, I was going to ask - does lunch include a beverage? I am assuming not seen as dinner specifically lists it.
TIA
Trail's End is one of my favorite restaurants at WDW. You can EAT there, not just "dine." FW is a cool place to wander around with kids, you can see the way people decorate their RV spaces and maybe will be lucky enough to see some animals.
We love Trails End. One of the CMs there told us that they have the exact same fried chicken and ribs served at Hoop Dee Doo (b/c they share a kitchen). The peel-and-eat shrimp, salad bar, carved meats, and desserts are also delicious.
Thanks - I've been a lurker on your TR, but must've missed the TE review. Looks like you enjoyed it overall - I'll make a note not to eat too much chilli though
