Is it any good? We're thinking of it for dinner on a MK day? We're a group of 10, with 4 kids and 6 adults.

We like Trail's End... it's a modest buffet but at a better price.

I've never been but I hear this is one of the better all you can eat places for families. Ressies go fast there too.

Buffets are always a good choice for large groups, especially one with kids. However, Trail's End is really pretty simple (fried chicken, mashed potatoes, salad bar, pizza). It's also a pain to get to. We enjoyed our meal, but probably won't return.

We enjoy TE and eat there every trip. It is a good buffet at a GREAT price!

We're looking forward to doing this on our next trip.
One thing I did notice a few days ago is that the price has gone up - lunch is now $14.99 and dinner is $20.99.
Just incase anyone wants the menu link, here it is:

:)

By the way, I was going to ask - does lunch include a beverage? I am assuming not seen as dinner specifically lists it.
TIA :goodvibes

Trail's End is one of my favorite restaurants at WDW. You can EAT there, not just "dine." FW is a cool place to wander around with kids, you can see the way people decorate their RV spaces and maybe will be lucky enough to see some animals.

We went last year and really enjoyed it!! We are going again this May! There are a few pictures in my food review if you want to see some close ups!

We love Trails End. One of the CMs there told us that they have the exact same fried chicken and ribs served at Hoop Dee Doo (b/c they share a kitchen). The peel-and-eat shrimp, salad bar, carved meats, and desserts are also delicious.

Thanks - I've been a lurker on your TR, but must've missed the TE review. Looks like you enjoyed it overall - I'll make a note not to eat too much chilli though :lmao:

We liked it...The food is simple and the selection is not tremendous...But it was good...We liked the atmosphere....Cozy and calm....

Great on an MK day because it is a quick boat ride away!
