DW, DD and I will be down to WDW next Thurs (10th) for a spontaneous, though brief (3 days) trip.
DD is 13 months, so we are centering this trip around her. We were thinking of checking out the petting zoo at FW, but aren't sure if it's worth taking the time during such a short trip.
Has anyone been to the petting zoo recently? What kind of animals do they have? Is it worth taking a few hours during a 3 day trip to go see?

Thanks for all info!!

they had mainly goats the last time. the little pygmie kind that beg for food. The horse barn is close, where they keep all the wdw horses, and you can see some of them. there is also a playground close. they also have pony rides. if you post this in the camping forum, you'll probably get more responses.

We always take a non park day and go over there. Then again, we are usually staying at the WL...so we take the boat ride there which kind of adds to the fun. Not sure I would drive over there for the petting zoo. the pony rides are fun though. My DD (she is 6 now) LOVES petting zoos...even if it is just a bunch of goats! When we went to AK this last trip, all she wanted to do was stay at the petting zoo all day long!
