I went on-line and did a price comparison staying at FWL in November vs. the time period in-between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and it costs twice as much to stay in November. Does anyone know why this is? Why is it more costly to go in November than between December 1-19???

Disney's pricing structure is figured on 4 seasons, with those 4 seasons being value, regular, peak, and holiday. November is considered regular season, whereas December 1-19th (for this year) is considered value season, with 12/19 thru 12/31 being holiday. I believe regular season goes thru the Saturday after Thanksgiving, with that Sunday being the start of value season. Hope this helps :goodvibes.

Also, keep in mind that Fort Wilderness is a campground with cabins and campsites. Whereas, Wilderness Lodge is a deluxe resort. You may have been comparing apples to oranges.

Just wanted to make sure you don't confuse Fort Wilderness Campground with Wilderness Lodge (not Fort Wilderness Lodge). They're not the same thing. :thumbsup2
