I am sure this has been addressed, but I could not find it searching around.

Are the internal Ft Wilderness busses 24 hours? I saw a blurb on a Disney site that says transportation is available 1 hour before park opening, and 3 hours after. But I assumed this was for external busses. Do the internal busses run on the same schedule?

tankerdriver,

I don't think they run 24x7 but they run pretty early in the morning and late into the night after the parks close, Hoop Dee Doo empties out, and night owls have headed back to the nest. There aren't as many of them/they don't run as frequently and the wait may be a little longer than one at mid-day, but they're going around. In the mornings folks may have breakfast reservations off property or at other resorts so they're going.

If you were worried about them starting internally an hour before the parks open, etc they are running well before then. You can use the internal busses and the external busses to get to rope drop at all the parks if you are up early enough.

Pretty sure the internal run till 3:AM.
I believe they run one hour prior to park openings and three hour after the last park or DTD, closes.

Those two have it pretty much covered, but the buses always seem to be running when I need them. :earsboy:

thanks guys.

yesterday we went to ft wilderness just to check things out and recorded the walk from the parking lot (bus station) to the campfire. it was about 0.75 miles and took about 20 mins with a stroller and 3 walking kids. it would be a pretty boring walk at the end of the day too, since there is nothing really to see between the depot and the 1300 loops.

I would not like to walk this every morning/evening since we are planning to NOT do the golf carts. but if the busses are running then I will be happy to provide my tush to their seats.

Your tush will be happy I promise.

And you have to take what born-to-fish/Frank says with a grain of salt. I am usually in bed by midnight but apparently the call of the lost fish can roust him out at all hours of the night. He must be one of those night owls I referred to. :)

As someone who stayed in the first cabin next to the street and bus stop I can say they run earlier if there is a park EMH but always by 6:30 or so. Got used to the sound so don't know when they stopped since we were asleep. I think after 2 am sounds right. DTD is open until then, so they have to get you back to your site or cabin if you stay out that late. On the days when MK has those holiday EMH, like til 3 am, they'll definitely run until after the last boat from MK.

Ha, Frank is in bed by 10, on vacation. Now he might be up at 4 that is AM.
