Ft Wilderness Hoop De / Campfire / Movie Logistics?

Off to CBR next week and found out that they're showing Toy Story 2 (my sons' favorite movie) at the outdoor theater at Ft Wilderness.

I've never been there, so can someone tell me the timing and walking distance from......

5pm Hoop De Doo Musical Review

to

7pm Campfire

to

8pm Movie

Are they all close together? Do I have to drive between the events? Is there enough time to squeeze in the Hayride too?

You cannot drive your car into FW Campground. You will have to park & take an internal bus to the Hoop de doo & then take an internal bus over to the campfire site. Time-wise I cannot tell you, it can take you up to 20 minutes or more?????

The campfire and movie are at the same place.

Not sure about the timing but I think you'll be fine. After Hoopde Doo make a quick exit and go back to the bus stop. Catch the internal bus to the campfire and movie. You might miss a little of the campfire.

So you're saying I must take a bus from the Hoop De Doo area to the Campfire/Movie area?

Also, are their snacks to buy at the Campfire/Movie area? Are there padded seats or do you sit on the ground?

We did the Hoop Dee Doo and the campfire and movie all in the same night with no problem. We walked from Pioneer Hall to the campfire site. It was a little bit of a hike, but not a big deal.

We always stay one night at FWCabins to catch the outdoor movie and toast Smores. We always walk. It's fun to see all the campers and tents decorated with lights and stuff and there are lots of people walking around. Make sure to visit the General Store.

They do have food you can buy at the campfire, even marshmallows and sticks. They do have limited bleacher seating but mostly you sit on the ground so bring a blanket or towel to sit on.

To go from the Hoop De Doo (Settlement Depot) you'll want to take the OUTPOST ORANGE bus... It's been a while since I've driven in the Woods... but I beleive it's the first or second stop on the route. Total travel time, 2 mins tops. Just ask the driver which stop is best.
