FT sure thing vs. waiting for November discounts?

I have room only reservations (2 rooms) for the first week of November at the Polynesian - Garden View. Of course my rate right now is full rack for value season. After doing a little investigating it does appear that the Fairy Tale package would be a very good deal for me if I move the dates of the trip up to late September.

I had been planning on using my FF miles for the plane, but when I finally went to investigate today at the Delta website, there are no Skysaver flights available for my dates. This means I'd have to buy the tickets for all 5 of us, costing me an additional $800-$1500 to pay for the flights.

I priced the FT package for late September including the flights and it looks like the package with flights included (for about $700-$800) would save me a couple thousand dollars over what I'm looking at now if no discounts come out between now and then.

So I'm wondering, do I take the sure thing in September (with the higher humidity and rainier weather), or do I hold out for early November?

We are facing the same dilemma. We normally go over Thanksgiving and into the 1st week of Dec. Right now I have a 1 b/r at the AKL booked, but I was pricing the BWV and OKW and I was tempted to switch to the end of October. But. I really love Christmas Decorations and I love Disney in Dec. So although the package is a great deal, we have decided to stick with the original plan. You never know, they may offer something for us Nov/ Dec folks. A girl can dream:)

Good luck in deciding.

We are scheduled to arrive at Disney on Thanksgiving for a 9 night trip. We decided to stick with our original plans.
