Ft Lauderdale Narrowed It Down to 2

I've narrowed it down to 2 hotels pre cruise- the Westing and lago mar.... any have experience with either?
We wont be able to take the wheel chairs over - but as my wife pointed out, how did I think we were getting the suitcases to the ship with that plan anyway? Thank Goddess for clever spouses.

Lago Mar had a lot of uneven ground in the hotel walkway and has a step into the room if that is of any concern. At least the walkway between elevator and our room did, so it might be different in other parts of the hotel. The room was large and clean but definitely dated. The mini golf/shuffleboard area left a lot to be desired but it was nice walking out to the beach. Even if it was a long walk.

This hotel is located right outside the entrance to the port and is brand new. The original Anthony’s coal fired pizza (a so Fla favorite but is no longer owned by the founder) is right around the corner for a bite to eat.
