My mom is planing on making a scean. I am going with a big group of people and I am suspecting that some will be in the RV and others will be sleeping ouside. My mom wants me in the RV sleeping she is convenced that I will be raped or something if I sleep outside. I just feel lucky to be invited I don't care were I sleep

Don't you know that most of those pesky otters are in National Sex Offenders Database. :goodvibes

What I tired telling my mom I would be reectly safe sleeping outside at fortwilderness she is like but a sex oender can pay to stay at fortwildnerness. I might be being niave however do you realy think Disney would put me in danger. I am sure they don't want a bad reputation.

Yes every camper everywhere in a tent is in grave danger.

Of course I don't see every news report for the FORT but I haven't seen any about anyone being "attacked"(whether sexual or otherwise) in their tent. Most of the local FrIENDS should be able to chime in on this one.

sry about all the bad post I Posted I need to get my friend micorsoft word to check my spelling and I should check my typing

Just trying to figure out why my mom is being so protective of me?

I think your mom has too much time on her hands and watches to many movies. There could be sex offender around you at any given time not just at Disney. So tell your mom to lighten up and just have a good time.

If you're 25 yrs old why should you care?????:confused3

I am thinking that if I knew why I can fix it and then she would stop

Maybe her main concern is I sleep a lot deeper then most people there for someone could kill me while I am sleeping, I know that sounds stupid, or maybe she thinks that I wont sleep cause ever noise will freak me out.

Disney tries to keep all the sex offenders on one loop,,,,
just tell'm at check-in that you don't want the perv loop.

So you are going with a big group? Can we assume that you wont be in the tent alone?

Safety in numbers, not that I think it would be required at FW.

I guess in order to make a fair judgment, I'd have to know a little bit more about you and why your mother feels the need to still be so protective of you. The reason I state this is because one of my nephews is 23 and mildly autistic. He doesn't understand that even though he thinks he's ready to go it alone, he's far from it.

I know the economy has been very bad but, I wonder why a 25 year old woman is still allowing her mother to govern her life? Gotta be some reason?:confused3

Sometimes you have to pick your battles when dealing with your parents, just like you do when raising kids. Family vacations can be one of those times it's better to just cooperate than argue, especially if the parents are "in charge" of the trip, and the request isn't totally unreasonable.

Personally, I would be more worried about snakes, gators, and other critters than human attackers. :scared1: Obviously, there are bad people in the world, but I think you're as safe at FW as you would be anywhere else.

Tell me you are kidding

True so even if I am in a tent I will be with two other girls my friend and her sister
