I shouldn't moan too much as we have fabulous trip to the world planned for September. It is my 180 days window today, so i decided I had better book by ADR's. I thought this would take 10 minutes - I was wrong.

I open up My Disney experience AP and try to add my DVC reservation number. The AP freezes and I can't get any further. I don't know about you guys but if I spent a billion dollars on something I would expect it to work.

I get out my laptop and get no further forward on the website. So now I am irritated - I have to call Florida from Scotland!!

I get through to a really nice DVC CM who is helpful but not very knowledgeable. She is unable to make a booking for Il Mulino at the Swan and advises that they have never been able to book them. This is strange as I have booked through them before.

She then makes a reservation for Cape May cafe with no problem.

I ask to make a booking for BBB - she has never heard of it and has to ask a supervisor how to do it. She is able to make the booking but it takes a while.

I then ask to book the Neverland club at the Polynesian. She eventually finds it after 10 mins and she tries to book it. She get right through the booking when it will not let her complete until she confirms that my DD is 5. I say no she is 3. She advises that she can't book it for me. I ask her to check again as the web site still says three and I know many 3 year olds that have had care there. She puts me on hold again to speak to her supervisor. After another 10 mins she comes back on and advises that she needs to call someone from Disney dinning and could I hold again. I agree and go back on hold - however after holding for 5 mins I get put though to the end of call questionnaire, i,e the call has been dropped.

I call back and try to get back through to the original CM but the new CM advises that that is not possible and she will try and help. I explain my problem and she tries to book the Neverland club. Same problem at the end of the booking as my daughter is not 5. She speaks to her supervisor and advises that she is going to speak to dining reservations. After 5 mins she comes back on and advises that she has spoken to them and they have advised that as my DD is not 5 she should not book it and that I should try calling back another time. She could not confirm if it was a policy change or a computer malfunction.

A this point I had been trying for over an hour to make a few reservation so I asked very politely if I could speak to the supervisor. I made it clear I was not making a complaint about her but that I want to get this resolved without another call to USA.

I spoke to a lovely supervisor - explained everything to her - she put me on hold - 15 minutes later she comes back on the phone to advise that she has spoken to the Neverland club and they have confirmed that the age limit is 3-12. She then makes my booking.

Now I have the reservations that I wanted but it has taken nearly 2 hours if i include wasted mobile and laptop time. I am unable to see any reservations on the ap or online but I do have a note of the numbers. I feel the whole situation is just a shambles. DVC/Disney need to get these computer issues sorted not just for client but for there staff too.

Any way enough moaning from me - thanks for listening.

My experience was similar last week. On the "180 day" day I logged on, put in my reservation number and booked the first dinner at Via Napoli. Easy.:thumbsup2
Then I went to book the next day and could not. :confused3 So it's the 180+10 capability that is really broken. The site itself has been a hot mess for weeks. Down here and there all over the place, DVC site too. I had to call and do it by phone. The wait time was almost an hour !! got what I wanted except for BOG - this is no longer on reservation system. She had no idea why or for how long. I just said forget it. Food looks too fancy anyway. Then the next day I went on line and none of the ADRs were there !! :scared1:(Except Via Napoli, day 1). I called back. Waited 5 minutes....and the CM linked it all. They need a phone # and email address on each and every ADR.
Worked great. But yes, we have to call.

Question for the Tech people because honestly I don't know.

If the problems were with the site wouldn't everyone have problems.

I have had no problems with the site at all. It loads quickly and I am able to access everything I need.

Minutes after booking my DVC trip it was on MDE as reservations.

Just curious, as I know many are having problems and I wondered if some of it on the end of the users, as to browsers, connection speed, etc.

I'm just curious, has everyone linked their DVC membership to the MDE account? I did this when I transitioned to MDE and I haven't had problems -- but I'm not in the 180 day period for dining. My DVC reservation displays and has since I made the booking.

Mine are linked and not having problems. I linked before my reservation was made.

No. This site "upgrade" that has been going on for months now has been different for everyone. One person can get on with their Mac but not ipad and their spouse can't get on with their thinkpad but can with their Dell. It's all nutty.

And it changes from moment to moment.

When I linked mine, it finally gave me access back into the DVC booking website. However, my log in information changed to what the Disney website was using....... Email and password instead of the username and password from DVC site previously. That I can live with....as long as it continues to work. Once they were linked, when I logged into MDE, none of my reservations were showing up, and when I tried to search for them, it had an error. It took a few days, but they showed up. Now, everything seems to be working fine, but this upcoming 2 nights we aren't making ADRs, and Dec is too far out to be 180 +10, so hopefully all the bugs will be worked out by then. I feel it is too many changes at once, and with enough patience, it will all start to flow better. But while the rollout continues, some of us will experience problems along the way.

Just make sure you are keeping copies of reservation #'s for bookings, ADRs, etc. just in case.

Yeah . . . that pretty much sums it up . . .

I got on the regular Disney site tonight to check availability and the dining link only brings up 38 restaurants. It won't bring up most of the resort restaurants. When I open MDE, it shows the times of my ADR's made in January, but the names of the resort restaurants are missing. The website should be a horrible embarrassment to Disney and whomever is in charge of IT, and that person definitely does not deserve a bonus this year. This situation is unbelievable and I have no faith that anything is going to work correctly once they roll out FP+. Yikes!

How frustrating!! I spent over 30 minutes trying to reserve the Cub's Den in January and got disconnected once and had to completely restart my reservation and go through the process again. I'm not sure why that can't also be done online. The first CM I got didn't even know what I was talking about until I explained in great detail and asked for another to help me. It should be
accessible for booking at a minimum through the DVC website.

I can get into My Disney on my laptop, but every time I try to access it on my iphone it tells me my password is incorrect (have never changed it in all these years) and gives a number to call for help. When I called that number, the CM I spoke to had absolutely no idea about the app or how to help me. Just flat out admitted there was no one to forward my issue on to. I can't be the only iphone user with issues.

My DD had a "fairy" on the Disney website that she played with every Saturday for a year, and one day they changed the password/logon rules, and her fairy that she has worked on/played with for a year is "poof" gone.
I had paid monthly for her to get extra diamonds and pixie dust and there's no evidence anywhere that it exists anymore. I email tech support and they write back not addressing the issue at all and tell me that her fairy never existed. Do they think I would make that up????

Disney needs to fire the head of IT now - ADRs, My experience, Kids games and DCL (you can even add ESPNs apps to the list) are all sub standard and consistently have problems with their functioning. I have told my kids they are now banned from the website because I am sick of them asking for help when games don't work.

It is just so weird that it works perfectly for me. :confused3

I went to the dining site and immediately had access to 190 restaurants.

Of course I am using my PC with DSL hookup. I have no desire to try to do any of this on a phone, or i-pad which I think causes more problems. Also I clean my computer daily of files etc. and I play no games which will ruin a good working computer.

I hope it gets better for everyone soon.

My computer is clean, as well. No games. No videos. I even deleted all Disney cookies this AM. I am using safari on an Apple MacBook Air over our secure home wifi. Up until yesterday, I had not had any problems with the website. In fact, even my app has been working fine with all of the info for my reservations showing up. Almost all of my ADR's were made by MS (since the 180+10 did not work), and those even showed up within minutes.

The one restaurant not showing up in the search is Kouzzina. We already have a reservation there, but I wanted to check other times and no matter how I do it, I can't get it to come up. I was able to get it to show 190 restaurants; the "reservations accepted" filter was on by default, for some reason. Once I unchecked it, I get the 190 restaurants, but I don't see Kouzzina in the list.

Let me know if Kouzzina comes up for you!

Exactly the same experience, different characters. Princess app lost many princess choices, Jakes birthday bash just wouldn't load. It was all there, working great, new system started, TONS of problems. Unacceptable.

OP here,Thank you all so much for your comments. It seems I am not the only one who finds the whole situation annoying. Last night I was able to book an ADR through Disney.co.uk on my laptop. I hadn't been able to do this earlier in the day. I was also able to link my DVC hotel reservations onto the website. I was unable to pull through or see any of the ADR'S booked through DVC MS.

Today on MDE AP, I can see the ADR I booked on line but none of the others including my DVC hotel reservations.

Maybe I am having problems because Disney UK as not linking properly with Disney.com or DVC. I can't use Disney.com as it keeps redirecting me to Disney .co.uk. All my Disney accounts have the same name and number etc. I usually use Firefox but will try Chrome in the future if this might help.

I wondered, after reading all this, how my Sept trip would load. So, I went over to DVC, signed on, clicked on my Sept reservation. It gave me a place to 'add to MDE', so I figured, what the heck, and clicked on it. Then, I figured it would freeze up since I now had two different Disney sites open..which is what happened to me a month or so ago when I tried to tie DVC to MDE. But, this time it loaded just fine. Now, my Sept BWV stay is there....we'll see what happens tomorrow when my ADR booking window opens though.

Good luck with you ADR'S tomorrow - let us know how you got on and what browser you were using etc...

no problem with Kouzzina, did you put it in the search for Disney Dining? Try going through Google, I was able to get the link that way too.

When I tried to add a celebration. I kept getting bounced to the new reservation page.

Hard to believe that Disney canot get this right. Causes me to have concerns about their security protocals regarding our persoanl info including CC info.

OK, so now it is working again at home when I search for Kouzzina. It worked on my work computer, as well, which uses IE (8 or 9, not sure which). The names of the restaurants are showing up again under "My Plans" again, too. Crazy!

Me too Sammie..I have two trips coming up and have not had any issues other than just getting use to the new app. I am connected thru my laptop, two droids and a work blackberry.

Glad it worked, I told them to fix it for you. ;)

I do find that Google chrome works the best for me. I don't have much luck for IE. I also have Clean up on my computer which I run every night. It does seem to keep things running smoothly.
