Frozen Fireworks

Hello all,

We are coming to Disney for the Villains Unleashed event. We will be there by 8 PM on August 22nd, the event is August 23rd. On August 22nd, it says that HS closes at 8 P.M.?? We wanted to see the Frozen fireworks since on the 23rd they are having the Villain fireworks. Do you think HS will extend their closing time on August 22nd?

Disney has already released the Frozen fireworks schedule for August 17 - September 1st: 9:15 fireworks. No Frozen fireworks on August 23rd.

Dang! I'm not going to arrive on the 22nd until 8:00-8:15ish, we are leaving at 5.. it's a three hour drive. If they close at 8, I am not going to be able to get in. I guess I'll have to see Wishes!

They could still close at 8. It could be for a private event or cast member appreciation event. They often have these at DHS sometime between August and September.

Frozen fireworks are nightly except for August 23rd. Because all the Frozen events were developed and planned in the last 12 days, many related scheduling data and software have not been updated. Fireworks would not occur an hour and 15 minutes after park closure.

I was saying that it is possible the fireworks would not be offered that night due to a previously scheduled event that can not be changed. They wouldn't extended the park hours and there would be no fireworks because regular guests wouldn't be able to be in the park. It wouldn't be the first time an all summer event didn't go off for one night because of a private event.

The 23rd is the Villians event. This is why the park closes early and they are not having the Frozen fireworks because they are doing the Villans party stuff.

Don't know about the 22nd. My thoughts are that they may extend the hours. May not. Best to inquire when you get there I guess. Sorry!

That makes total sense! I will be honest I completely forgot about the Villains Bash event. I heard DHS is closing earlier than they are any other day and was like oh nothing new someone rented DHS out for an event or it is CM appreciation time again.
