WHere is the best place to view the Frozen fireworks? Hollywood Blvd? where exactly. Will we be able to see the stage? What time should we line up/get a spot? I have the premium package purchased but I'm thinking of cancelling it as the reviews seem to be that it is a waste of money. It is costing our family of 6 almost $400. How easy is it to see the Frozen fireworks and then see Fantasmic at 10:30? If we go to Fantasmic at 9pm will we be able to get a good spot to see the Frozen fireworks?

1. Hollywood Blvd?
2. where exactly.
3. Will we be able to see the stage?
4. What time should we line up/get a spot?
5. How easy is it to see the Frozen fireworks and then see Fantasmic at 10:30?
6. If we go to Fantasmic at 9pm will we be able to get a good spot to see the Frozen fireworks?

1. Yes.
2. Doesn't really matter. The show takes place "over" the Chinese Theater/GMR.
3. Stage in in front of the Chinese Theater/GMR. Show will also be projected on a big screen.
4. 8:45-9:15.
5. Under "normal" conditions, easy.
6. It will be unlikely that you can see the stage, but you may be able to see the
large projection screen that presents video coverage of the stage show.
Also very unlikely that you will be able to reach Hollywood Blvd. in time to see the
full stage show as the 9PM F! is not over until 9:30PM.

But, you SHOULD be able to see the actual fireworks that begin at about 9:45pm.

thank you very much for your thorough answers, I really appreciate your expertise. I think I'll just cancel that Premium package, what a rip off.

I have questions about the frozen fireworks as well. How do you ignite them? Shouldn't you defrost them first? What is the safest way to defrost a frozen firework? I assume a microwave is out of the question .... :jester:

Blow torch.

Last week we watched the Frozen fireworks from just outside the Starbucks. We could not see the stage show directly but we were right in front of a video screen of the stage show which was fine for us. After the fireworks we headed down the road to see Fantasmic. We had to hang out on the street for a few minutes since the stadium was not open yet, it was not very long though.

ETA: I think we were at Starbucks around 8:30 to get some cupcakes, we just stayed there eating/enjoying and waiting for the fireworks.

that's a great idea, thanks

Starbucks had really cute Anna and Elsa cupcakes and I had been given some Starbucks gift cards that I had put on the app months ago and never used. Was a win, win for us. Everyone got a free cupcake, we took a seat and met a really nice woman who was traveling alone (there was a teacher conference while we were there) making the time pass really quickly.

We had no problem in June doing this. Got to Hollywood Blvd and situated at least 10 minutes before the show started.

You were correct about not being near the stage, though.
