Frozen Ever After

Are the lines manageable right before park closing?

I was just there in mid September and the lines were still over 45 minutes near park closing. The ride still breaks down sometimes mid day and fast passes that have to be honored frequently clog up the line.

The advantage of the lines during closing is you don't cut into your park time waiting in the line so as long as your ok with any length line, it's a good way to do the wait and not take away from the rest of the day.

As long as the ride functions while your waiting, they will let you ride after close no matter how long you wait.. (but might shut down the ride entrance earlier to have a shorter line at close so you ened to watch for that as well). I dont' think they've been doing that for this ride but sometimes it's just a couple minutes early.

It might cut into illuminations time though as that generally shows at close so if you watch and then get in line, you'll find the ride line is closed.

OK, I tried a search and wasn't able to find answers relating to my specific question, so I'll try here, and if I'm in the wrong place, I'm sorry. :(

We have a breakfast ressie at Akershus that we'll be done eating probably between 9 and 9:30. FEA is nearby, if I recall correctly. Would we still need a Fastpass to get on the ride within 30 minutes of standby? Need to choose between that and Soarin' for our fastpass and was hoping we wouldn't need it for FEA if we're in the park for breakfast before park open. Thanks for your help, as always!

FEA opens at 9 am ( it opens before WS dose) so if you have break fast and get out any time after 8:45 expect to wait a good bit to ride soaring on the other hand dose not have a long as a wait since they added the 3 theater,

So you're saying I should still FP FEA to go on after breakfast even though we're right near it if I want on the ride within 30 minutes? I was hoping to do standby at FEA after breakfast and FP Soarin for later in the day.

We went for rope drop on Monday Oct 3, we excited the rise at around 930 (waited 30 minutes) and the wait time stated 75 minutes and the line was very very long.

Yes I would FP FEA unless you know you will be done with breakfast before 8:45-850 and walk quickly to FEA

You can also go on MDE tomorrow morning and look at the wait times do it every 15 minutes for the first hour and see how quickly the line builds ( inqouls start before park opens

Is your ADR PPO or right at park opening? If it's PPO, I believe they will let you in with the other PPO people at 8, even if your ADR isn't until 8:30 or whatever. Ask for the check right when you are seated and be prepared to skip meeting any characters that don't happen to make it over to your table. If you can get out to FEA by 8:50 or so, you should be able to get a ride in without much of a wait. If you don't get out there until 9:30, be prepared to wait awhile.

We did a ppo breakfast at Akershus on Monday. We got out of breakfast at 8:50 and zipped into line as the rope drop crowd arrived (they obviously let them in a few minutes early). We waited 10 minutes. By the time we got out the line was at 60 and climbing. Meanwhile the posted wait for Soarin was 15 minutes at 9:30. Though we did test track instead.

Soarin line was at 45 and climbing by 10.

I waited after park closing the other night and waited maybe 20 mins once the fp line was closed down. As long as you don't have plans to watch illuminations this is a viable option

Last Saturday I waited until they were just about to close the line and only waited 15 minutes

We have an 8:15 ADR....would we realistically have time to make the 9:00 opening? I'm thinking no!
