Frozen Ever After LIVE reports!

Apparently still closed. I bet there are some pretty short tempers around Norway right about now...

So is the ride closed for technical issues, or is it like someone posted above that they closed SB because the FP line was so long?

We had a 8:20 breakfast reservation. Paid when we sat down, stood up at 8:55 and walked on the ride. Literally when we walked out the line was past Mexico. I videoed the line (no idea how to upload on here) but I have never seen anything like it. We rode the 2nd or 3rd boat with the imagineers and I was excited for them. I feel terrible for the people waiting but that breakfast was the best I've ever paid for!!! The family that was seated right before us apparently didn't pay early and we saw them waiting on our way out of the park by Mexico. Must eat and go!
That's what I wanted to know! Thank you.

Fp line is all the way to China. Standby line is closed

whoa. So it is not currently having technical issues, it's just swamped I guess. Does it seem like they issued too many fp's? I thought they regulated how many were given out each hour. That seems like an awful lot of fp's if the line is all the way to China.

It's been down at least an hour (and counting) on the latest breakdown which is still going on. There have also been 3 or 4 earlier today. I'm sure they are trying to reopen it. People are still in line for it.

ok, so that must be why the wait is so long. People staying in line waiting for it to reopen.

Both, sort of. Closed to all now due to operational issues. If and when it reopens, it will be for FP guests.

Just got to the line for our "fastpass." The ride is closed and the FP line is to the China pavilion. Standby by line closed. Pretty disappointed .. We have a dinner rez in MK at 6 and today is our last day. Also they did not do a soft opening - we checked last night and our Akershsus server said they weren't doing a soft opening. I think it's ridiculous that they didn't properly test this ride before opening day, and now I've given up three MK fast passes to stand in an hour-plus line for a ride that may or may not be working.
Update: 1.5 hrs later we rode it! It was cute and everyone was in good spirits. Standby people behind us waited 5.5 hrs...

Must be because Touringplans shows SDMT to be a 68 minute wait...as opposed the 120 mins it usually is at this time of day.
7DMT was 160 minute posted wait time when I went on it today (with FP) - IIRC it was around Noon. I remember it well because we all discussed it: the standby line wasn't visible - you couldn't see anyone from the entrance to the line. But the FP line was past the corner (at least 100 people waiting to scan in at the first FP reader. (It did move along quickly though).

I agree. How many people that waited that long are in the park to only ride opening day. Its like camping outside of Apple just to say you got the new iPhone the first day.

Then the first to complain that there is something wrong with it. Know one learns that when something is new they need to work the bugs out of it and you should always expect problems.

What I don't get is the negative feedback in this thread from people who haven't ridden it and only watched a YouTube clip of it?
I'm not sure you can realistically give feedback if you've not experienced it IRL?

Either way, there's no chance I'd wait an hour for this ride, or any ride for that matter, and I'm far from a frequent visitor.
