Frozen Dessert Party & 8pm Fantasmic?

I will be attending the Frozen themed Dessert Party on 12/1. I guess we aren't allowed in until 7pm. Is it possible to attend this and make it to an 8pm Fantasmic with FP+ all the way across the park? This has been asked before in the thread dedicated to the package, but there were never any conclusive answers (at least to my knowledge).

What are the opinions of the experts on here? TIA

You would have to leave the Dessert Party by 7:30 to make it to Fant before your FP window closes. When the window closes, Standby guests fill in all empty seats in the reserved FP section.

For the amount you are paying for the Dessert Party, you should pass on Fant. The only thing that's special in your package is the Desserts and you should give yourself time to enjoy them.

Yeah I was worried about that. I've seen Fantasmic a bunch of times at Disneyland. I think DS will be fine to wait until we go again in a few years. We might as well enjoy ourselves and then slowly walk around and see the lights. Thanks!
