to work.

I have a mess on my hands and it's driving me nuts. Any estimations I can hold onto.

I use it regularly, so most of the time, I don't notice it working...........it just does. However, when we've been "in the sticks" with the dogs and they come back with a load of ticks, I bathe them, then frontline them in the evening, put them to bed. In the AM, I put 'em out front on their leads (so the critters won't get in the back yard, front is treated), then wash out their kennel/carriers. Then I launder their bedding, put it all back together, and bring them in. They're fine after that..........I don't even have to look at all those little eight-legged things.

Thanks Paige.

I haven't had a problem in so long, I just didn't treat them. Well, when I went on my trip, my ex watched them for me. He said he'd treat them since their dogs have fleas.
Apparently he didn't and he didn't warn me when he brought them back this morning.

De nada. Fleas should be even easier than ticks to kill. Just try to make sure you don't get them in the carpets. Keep your babies isolated from the main house some way.

Serena,

It takes 12 hours to work through their system. I work for a vet.
Most people think it should kill those nasty fleas right away.

Make sure you treat the enviroment too!

Lisa, lol, we hope and pray it works instantly. lol

I have sprayed and washed where they've been. I'll have to do it a few more times before I'll be happy.

Frontline is fantastic. We've used it on our lab for four years now, and its like a miracle, once its applied, absolutely no ticks whatsoever. In fact, at the beginning of the season if we haven't applied it yet after the ticks come, a couple will literally come to the surface and fall right off once its applied. Its amazing stuff. Oh, and it says to apply once a month. We tend to go every other, it seems to last that long.

Put mothballs in your vacuum bag (if you have carpets). Any fleas and eggs in the carpet will get trapped in the bag and the mothballs will kill them. Just change the bag when you are done vacuuming!
