I booked a one way trip from MSP to PHX on Orbitz today. They were offering the same flight for over $200 cheaper than if I booked directly on the airline website. Fine, I'll give Orbitz at try and have had good luck with Expedia, though I prefer to book direct.
Fast forward and I was able to pick my seats, or so I thought. When I review my seat assignments, I see that 3 of the 4 on one of my flights and 2 of the 4 on my other flight say "confirmed" while the remaining seats say "requested". There is no rhyme to which ones are which as one of them is a middle seat near the back. I just looked at my email confirmation and it says "seat are pending airline approval".
Edited to add: I just looked at the flights on Frontierairlines.com as if I were buying a ticket and the seat map is showing that my seats are not available to book, so I am assuming that these will be my seats..... hopefully.
Will they change to confirmed or will I be in limbo until our flight....
