Frontier Airlines - what can you tell me about them

Can anyone tell me their experience with this airline. I have been looking for a couple of months for November airfare. The only thing I can find is Frontier out of Philadelphia. Nothing else even comes close to their price. I have checked different dates and airports. I am curious how much they charge for seats and baggage and if the flights with them have been worth the price. Thanks so much.

Their web site lists all their costs. The only things free are the sit you sit in (as long as you let them assign it, a personal item that fits under the seat in front of you, the air you breathe and use of the toilet onboard.

Consider Trenton or Wilmington as you avoid the PHL hassles.

Used them to fly to Seattle last month. Very positive experience. I purchased the higher fare that includes seat assignment and one checked bag. It was still cheaper than other airlines. Flight crew was professional and plane was clean. Would definitely use them again if the price was right.

I just used them to fly roundtrip from Cincinnati to Orlando and had a very positive experience. My bags made it to and from without getting lost. Don't expect much on the plane as far as a drink or snack unless you by them, and i would definitely pre-purchase your baggage- other than that it was great. I'm flying with them again in November!

Thank you for the responses. I went ahead and booked it. The price was great and i am hopeful we will have a good experience. Our schools are closed the entire first week of nov making it impossible to find anything under 700dollars out of newark.

Hi! How was your experience with frontier and Philly airport? I have an upcoming trip in three weeks and I am a bit nervous about it all. I hope you had a nice flight and no issues. Is frontier super picky about the size of your personal item? I want to use a tote bag rather than my regular purse so I can fit a book or two but worried that they will charge me.
