Anyone have experience with Frontier Air? They seem to offer some of the best rates for our flights, but we've never used them. Anyone have any experience or feedback?
We've flown Frontier from Denver to Orlando a couple of times and found it to be fine. They have TV screens built into the headrests so (for a fee) you can watch TV or movies during the flight. Wish they participated in the Resort Airline Check-In service, but so far they don't.
Frontier is great!
However they have gone to this 3 tier ticket price thing.
The cheapest fares have no advance seat selection and you have to pay extra for bags, tv, etc.
I really like them. When I called about a reservation question, I got through right away to a customer service representative who was friendly and helpful. Their leather seats and seatback TVs are nice on a long flight.
The trick is to compare the fare levels. You may pay more for a higher level fare but you get two bags free plus free TV and more FF miles. Frontier seats gives you more legroom and the TV helps pass the time.
