From WDW To DL With Love - January 06, 2011

We booked this cruise while on the Magic last week. We are so excited to be able to cruise through the canal with all of you!
Our group includes DH Chip 44, me Cathy 47, DS will be 13 on cruise, DD will be 10, MIL and FIL.
We would be interested in participating in FE gifts. We had a ton of fun with these on our cruise.
We look forward to getting to know all of you over the next year and then meeting you on the cruise.

South West will be comming to Panama City Florida so I can now fly for $49 to Orlando. I am going to keep an eye on the fares. But I hope to get that same fare closer to our cruise. If anyone is a history fan might like reading the book Path Between the Seas which is by David mccolough (sp) it is about the Panama Canal. I am going to do that next year.

I have read it. It is dry in some parts and long but is well worth the read.

And thank you, pahrumpgirl for passing it on to me to read! Yes, dry in some places but very informative! It is a thick book with small font so will take a while to read. It also has some historic photos in it.

Does anyone know if KIdani village has DCL pick up or do I have to go to the Lodge? Since we will fly SW we will stay I night and just use DCL transport to the pier.

We've decided to stay at WDW the night before too! We'll probably stay at SSR. Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but if you post it on the DVC Planning board, someone there will answer it for you.

I think we will stay at KV our home and then hubby can get a massage the am of the cruise while I go to SSR to get a pedicure maybe. Maybe eat at the Poly for dinner.

Oh the Poly for dinner. I must asume you are talking about 'Ohana. I love it there. It just may be my favorate restruant on property.

Ah, but Kona Cafe is quite lovely too! Have had great breakfast and dinner there!

AND....don't forget the Dole Whip that you can get at Capt Cooks! All in all, the Poly is a plethora of dining delights!

I have never been to Kona Cafe. Menu looks good, but given the choice I will take 'Ohana. It is the only place in this world I will eat turkey.

Hello all! Haven't been around much on this thread, been busy finalising our med cruise and going to Christmas parties!

Linda, you'll like this one...We went to Mal's father's family Kris Kringle on the weekend. There were 58 Albanys running around! It was good fun but very tiring. Thought I'd share some photos
