Here in west central Minnesota it has started to snow. They are predicting we will get 20 inches by the time this storm moves on. Had planned to drive 3 hours on Christmas Day to see my parents, but it looks like we may be snowed in. Safe travels to everyone and have a Merry Christmas!!!

When we went to CA last week we celebrated Festivus with my family. They thought we were nuts and I had to explain everything. Even brought the episode of Seinfeld with us. It was especially fun trying to explain to my sister's Russian hubby. We even brought an aluminum pole with us! Let the Feats of Strength begin.

Hi to everyone. Getting ready for my only day off of work tomorrow. Can't wait till Friday when I will make some serious money. I will be makeing three days worth of pay. Yipeeeee. That will help pay the cruise bills.

I worked an extra 5 nights last week on my week off
Night 1) beer money
Night 2) rainforest room money
Night 3) ski passes for switzerland
Night 4)cruise shoes money
Night 5) MINE

I am pulling another 24 hour shift next week, that will pay for the globespan flights that went bust that Ive to replace for ta!!!

You can see what gets me through the extra shifts Alan!!

I know dont you just love christmas, its not like that at ours, we are into holidays not christmas Im afaraid.

Linda babe, It was hard work walking in the smow, fronts of my legs are stinging today, Im just away to dig the car out, so the gym is on for today, I get the jitters if no excersise, and going for a run is def NOT an option, I cant mind the last time we had so much snow?
I also want a new thicker duvet !!! my house is hot but I am freezing at night, I think its only a 4.5 !!!!

Absolutely! He continues to get better each day. Now forgive me for my next stereotypical comment. But he is the typical man. Because he feels better, he thinks he can do more than he should. Thus resulting in him feeling worse! I am turning into a nag as I have to follow him around and say "dont touch that" "dont do that" etc. He's like a 2 yr old!!! Lol, but all in all I am eternally glad he is better. Thank you everyone for your prayers and good wishes.

Well it is my only day off today. Funny, being Jewish I don't even celebrate Christmas so I guess I will do some laundry today. I know a bartender friend of mine is working today so I guess drinking is in the line up for today as well. It can be so hard to find something to to today, I guess I should have worked. Oh well, what to do?

Sorry to hear you were affected by that. Are you able to get any of your money back - I hear not everyone will, which is a big shame.

Hi Kay, I feel bad cause I paid some of the flights with cc, so should get money back eventually, some by debit card (doh,stupid idiot) so can kiss it goodbye!
