From WDW To DL With Love - January 06, 2011

My wife is going to a bridal shower. I'm not sure yet, but I need to change the oil in both vehicles. I'd rather take the kids to WDW.

Changing oil doesn't sound like much fun. I would rather go to WDW too!

My mom and I are getting a mini vacation and going to Epcot tomorrow for F&W. We're staying overnight at the Yacht Club, dinner is at Kouzzina. Jeff is driving up Saturday with Jack. His wonderful stepmom is going to watch Jack while my Mom, Jeff and I go to Party for the Senses.
It's a hard life, someone has to do it....

That sounds like lots of fun! Hard life it is! LOL

We fly home on Sunday, just 1 day short of 6 weeks of vacation!!! I don't want to go, but at last I am resigned to having to. So, some washing and packing before then. Hopefully we will do some swimming in the villa pool too.

Going to a Harvest Festival Saturday.
Sunday is DH's birthday -- but we have a wedding that day, so we're celebrating throughout the weekend (and having a belated b-day party around Halloween)

Nice. Where is the Harvest Festival? That sounds like fun!

It's supposed to be stormy and cold all weekend, so I guess we'll stay in and do the usual. Pool and gym. Clean. Scrapbook. Watch sports on TV. Surf the internet. Read.

Last weekend was quite active all weekend, so it will be ok that it's quiet. Can't you always find something around the house to be done? We sure can.

Sounds like a nice and quiet weekend to me. Sometimes those are the best!

That's too funny! I worked at "Coke Terrace" (as Tomorrowland Terrace was also known as "back in the day") for a summer out of high school...one of the dirtiest, gruelingest, but funnest jobs of my life. That was 26 years ago!

Love it! It's one of the main things you need to know about Star Trek. If they put you in a red shirt, don't go on ANY away missions. You won't be coming back.

A friend of mine made his own red shirt uniform for use at Star Trek conventions. It annoyed him no end when I kept calling him "Ensign Expendable"

We are going to the Aviemore in the highlands to run a half marathon this weekend, staying at a very posh hotel as marathon runners get it cheap cause we fund raised for a hospice near by, gonna be great, how easy is a half after torturing myself with a full?

Sadie and Chewy, today is Dimples bearthday! She turns 5 for the 4th time (she was born 5. She will always be 5) I bought her a bearthday cake on the way home from the gym. She hadn't had one since she turned 5 for the first time. She says to tell you "Celebearate! EAT CAKE"

Just woke up here at WDW. Looks like thunderstorms again today. Had about a 20 min period yesterday of very heavy rain. I will take it. Better than being at work. Well off for another day in the parks. Bags all tagged for bell services to be sent out to the Magic tomorrow. Lets hope the Dodgers can turn it around today and get a win to even the series. If they cant, I don't think it looks very good for them.
