That is right Randy, GO DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um I will whole heartly hope the Twins smash the Yankees. When it comes to my favorte game baseball, I only hate one team more than the Yankees and that is the Giants. So there is no way on gods green earth I hope they win anything. Jeff I have not looked on my iPhone yet, but man yiuare going way above and beyond. You have another drink coming from this guy as well.

At least Jen's from the area originally. I hate people that live in Orlando that have been Yankee's fans forever despite never living, breathing or doing anything in/near New York. And for the record, I'm a mets fan.

While I was rooting for the Twins last night, I'd be shocked if this series isn't a Yankees steamroll.

I still remember watching the Zimmer/Martinez fight in Diversions on the Magic.

You bring up a great point Jeff. You know what really bothers me is that people started to like the Yankees right after 9/11. I can not tell you how many of those people do not know even what burrow they play in. It drives me nuts like all of the so called Rays fans last year. Even I had to go and shut one them up when at ESPN club last year with my friend who is from Maine and is a Red Sox fan. I just keep asking how guys like Kasmir, longoria, upton were doing and I would get, who do they play for. I told this one guy who still had the folds in his Rays shirt to go return it because this guy in the Dodgers hat, who lives in L.A knows more about the Rays than you do. Ughhhh nothing more anoying. Still I have to hate the Yankees. My dad grew up in Brooklyn when the Dodgers were there. He told me that if you were from Brooklyn you never let it be know you were from there if you went to the Bronx. I don't get it but I trust him. Heck, he would only take me to see the Mets on trips to see the family in New York, despite wanting to catch both teams.

I was raised a Yankee fan. Heck I don't consider my Mom a Yankee fan since she rooted for the BoSux in the '86 WS. I agree about the band wagon fans. The Rays fans are HORRIBLE. We went to a game the other day (baseball should NEVER be played indoors!) and the band wagon fans drove me nuts. If the bat hits the catchers glove on a routine swing, the catcher is at fault and it isn't a call just because it's the Yankees. Go buy yourself a rule book buddy.
I'll admit to liking the Dodgers mostly because they're the Dodgers. I'd love to say it's because of Torre, but he burned just about every bridge to the Bronx with that book, wtg Joe.
Still I would love to see a Dodger -Yankee WS. It would be awesome on many levels, but only cause the Yankee would win it :thumbsup2
And I'm with Jeff, seeing Zimmer and Pedro go at it while having some beers in Diversions on one of our cruises was awesome.

See I hate Joe. I think he is way over rated. You know this year, I don't think he allowed the words complete game in his dugout. I mean he worked our pen to death. He doesn't know when to run a guy, he plays for the Home Run, and Dodger Stadium is not a hitter friendly ballpark. I wish they would fire him. Sorry had to spew a little. I am in the minority here. Oh and before people here bring up the rings he won in New York, if I had guys like Jetter, Willians, Posada, Rivera in their primes I too could have guided those Yankee teams to victory. Sorry to my fellow Dodger fans here, but yes there is a Dodger Dan who does boo Joe Torre at gane and it is me. I am even really mad ge took the numberof my all time favorte Dodger Steve Garvey. After his contract is up next year I hope he is gone. Also as much as I agree that Baseball should not be played indoors, would you go sit through a D-Backs home game in August if it were not indoors? In Houston, there would be to many rain outs. I have to give props to the Marlins for putting in a retractable roof on their new ballpark. I think Staduims should be built for the climate they are in. Line the Teins new ballpark with no retractable roof. I would hate to play there in April or October.

As a long time A's fan (must hang head down for the last few years :guilty:) any team beating the Yankee's is a good team.

I get harassed by my DD and sister all the time (Yankee's fans) :sad2:. SIL is Met's and BIL is Dodger's.

I agree with you, he is over rated. He knew how to manage when he got to the Yankees, but lost it over time. He killed our pen too. Him and Joe Madden are idiots with their respective pens.
I wasn't a big fan of Girardi last year, but he seems to have found it this year. There's a certain feeling with this year's Yankee team that hasn't existed in a long time. I think a lot of it has to do with Torre being gone.
Here's a question though, if not Torre, who then for the Dodgers?

Sorry gang....
You can keep your East Coast/West Coast rivalry. For me, it will always be:

I think there is a little leauge coach that I like. :lmao: honestly right now I don't care, just want him out of here. We should have never let Jim Tracy go. Maybe Larry Bowa, or maybe Don Mattingly. I would love it if Tony Gwynn would become part of our coaching staff and work his way up to manager. That will not happen.

You know, I love Cubs fans. Your team can't win a thing and you stick by them and travel to see them. Bless your little Cubs hearts. I love you guys. You guys are true fans.

True story. Working Epcot one night near exit and I had to cut the line. Swing the gate across and in front of this family of about 5 as the train is leaving. I turn to apologize to them, let them know the next train is about 3 minutes away and so on when I realize they are all in cubs gear.

My statement to them? "Sorry, this train has to leave, but you're cubs fans. You're used to waiting."

Not being a baseball fan, thought I would change the subject :) and post a couple of revisions to my other logo ideas and a new one.

You know its bad when 2 digits isn't enough to represent the number of years since your last world series win.... Even the mets have two.

So many great logos!

Last time I didn't print out on magnetic paper -- I actually stuck magnets to the back of some and they worked really well!

We found a Pirates of the Carribean coloring book where you trace the image on a black page and a rainbow of colors appears. pirate:

I did the same thing. I printed all the graphics I wanted on a couple of sheets of paper (Probably 5 or 6 per page) then I took the sheets to be heavy-duty laminated at Office Depot. Cut them apart, glued magnets on the back, and Voila! Door magnets.

The best part is that if for some reason they end up migrating to someone else's door (or suitcase!) during the trip, it's no great loss and hardly cost a thing to make. AND I have them on my computer at home so I can make more for mementos.

Actually, I think its

AC0164101

:)

Jeff, I get the 101 at the end. But what is the other stuff? Also in case anyone is interested 1-0 Phillies over the Rockies in the 5th as I type this. That will probaly change as they have a runner on second with no outs.
