DH and I are booked in an old cat 11 (6317) and boy did I have sticker shock. But, at this point anyway - it stands!

We are in an 11B, with taxes and fees for 2 adults - 4844.36.

Did anyone notice their Balance due date? 09/07/2010 - that is less than a year. Is it due to status? I have not counted days at this point. Just curious.

Hi all!

I'm Shoshie (Shoshana) and my DH Adam and I are so excited to be joining you!

Through some miracle, our phantom request came through. I faxed it in on June 30 and I logged in today and saw that we are on the PC --- I was shocked. I'm silver CC and didn't expect anything until next week.

We had to pay the difference from our placeholder and saw that they had added in our transfer and insurance. So not bad considering it is DCL = $2457 pp + insurance + ground transport + fees = 5750.36 (we're in a deluxe oceanview, category 09).

We're in our early-mid 30s and live in L.A. -- so we're hitching a ride home!

No kids yet (we were trying to time it so we'd have a little one with us on the cruise, but back to the drawing board).

This will be my fourth DCL (second on the Wonder), and DH's second.

Look forward to meeting everyone. :wizard:

Yeah! I wonder if I have anything..never occured to me to check. So glad you are going on the PC!

OMGosh! OMGosh!

I went into my CC and ours was there..I faxed back in April but I hadn't heard anything..I called DCL to make sure it wasn't a fluke! Now to break the news to DH of the price... it's more then we paid last year...not much tho after transferring my booking and my 10%. Had to pay the difference of course on the deposit..I did go ahead and do that so I won't lose it!

All I know right now is that I am really tired. My 13 hold time turned into 90 min and then 30 more to book all of the six rooms that I needed to book. I am at work right now on 4 hours of sleep. I can't wait for this day to end. Still I am looking forward to cruising with all of you. I is going to be a blast.

I will however, put that aside and at least hope the subset of people both going on and following this cruise can be a bit more mature going forward then those who chose to follow the first panama canal cruise.

Well, if by 'mature' you mean 'old', I certainly fit the requirement :rotfl:

We'll be joining you all as well. Our IC request came through to my surprise! I thought I would have to wait until next Monday :dance3::cool1: We are in a 9b 2A1C for $6,774.00. More than we wanted to pay but we think it is worth it. We are planning on spending 6 additional nights at the Grand Californian and visiting San Diego as well. Might even add a WDW stay beforehand too - we'll have to see how the vacation time is looking.

Oh, it will be me, Melissa, my DH Robert, and our son Landon who will be 17 months.

BOOKED!!!
2 Adults Cat 11B Room 6323 (been there before... how funny) Total: $4506.30. No air/ins/or transfers.

Had a friend book for me since I couldn't book until 28th and got scared watching the prices go up!

Here is my question...

No mention of a OBC though several ppl have posted for gold and plat that one goes with, while others asked and were told no deal by DCL. How are we to confirm any of this??

The OBC are for those that were transferring a prior ressie from booking onboard on a previous cruise. DCL is not offering any OBC for new bookings to my knowledge.

Welcome aboard!

My OBC was from my old booking that I transfered to this cruise.

Welcome to all our new joiners! This is going to be a fun cruise!

If you just joined us and have your info, please PM me so that I can add your information on the first post. Send me your cabin # and dining main or late.

Please check your information on post #1 and PM with any additions: Names, Dining info, childrens' ages, cabin #'s etc. Thanks everyone!

I was under the impression that DCL only offers $200 OBC for onboard... these people are saying like $275 for gold and $350 for plat... I think is what they are saying. It's all in the big thread...

Not to mention apparently different DCL CM's are saying different things and even Mod's are saying different things based on the info they are getting. One said that the CM checked his "information sheet" and it was there, plain as day... very inconsistent and for the money we are all paying... they need to get that straightened out because that's alot of OBC's to be throwing around for some and skipping on others! :scared1:

Hey Penny, looks like we will be cruising again together. Cool. I am a Gold member and was not told anything about a OBC. Hence why I was going to try to reshop when we cruise in a couple of weeks do maybe I can get the 200 OBC.

Whoa is me !!! LOL

This was a long day of watching the prices rise and the best rooms get filled up. popcorn::

I will patiently wait until the 28th and cross my fingers (and pray) that there is a closet or something left that my wife and I can sqeeze into. :lmao:

I read that the cat 11s are already at GTY...Please just let us on the ship for under $5K, we don't care where on the ship. :thumbsup2

I really want to hope for the best, but my friends wife who works as a reservations agent told me the cruise is sold out. Now that does not mean you won't be able to get a reservation, as people may not pay third deposits. I wish you all luck and I hope I got some bad info.

We have OBC but it's because we transferred our booking from the westbound TA which we made on board.

Morning guys

I'm still quite shocked that we've booked this cruise, and very excited :yay:

Let me introduce myself, I'm Mandy, I'm from the UK and I'm a moderator over on the UK Community

I will be travelling with my hubby Paul and we'll be in stateroom # 6124, and we've got late dining

SANY1591.jpg

I will be celebrating my birthday on the 6th - when we set sail, and Paul will celebrate his on the 12th - as we sail through the Panama Canal

I look forward to getting to know you all

:wizard: BTW, good luck to those hoping to book next Monday :wizard:
