Val, The pins were waiting for me when I got into the office today. I really like them and I also loved the added little surprise. The Mickey pin is currently on my work jacket and looks rather nice on there.

Glad they arrived safe and sound. Hope you can find the last two on your October cruise. Maybe if they aren't offerred for sale they will be found in a trade. The trade book had alot of DCL pins.

The rest of the Magic and Wonder's itineraries for 2012. I think yesterday was rumoured.

Yes, that was the rumor but I have not seen anything. Some one did post that Galveston was going to make some kind of announcement. Who knows? I just want the summer schedule for the Wonder and the Magic for 2012.

We hope to go DW towards the end of the month-any else going around that time?

I finally got a shadow box for my pins and I found out I am missing the Mickey pin that you bought at the gift shop when you spent a certain amt.

I am also missing an EBTA from 2010

Does anyone have any extra that they would like to sell?

DD posted on Facebook that Cabo closed due to the tsunami, but didnt say how the trip is with the waves. I hope she and the ship do ok!

Would LOVE Galveston!!! We are currently about 45 mins from there but do plan on moving in the Summer of '12 to San Antonio. That is about 4-4.5 hours from Galveston. I'll take it

Yup, they had to skip Cabo but the waves werent as bad as some from the hurricanes of the east at the beginning of her tour (august/september). but better safe than sorry.

Just a drive by hello! Lots of things going on here..busy busy busy... we leave on Sunday for a MR cruise with my family who have never been on a cruise. Finishing cookie sales here this week as well. Tori almost to her 2000 boxes sold which will be a nice gift of a $400 Disney gift card so we can use it in August when we go to Alaska.So I am hoping she makes it.

Hope everyone is doing well. It will be strange on the ship next week because I know I will keep looking for all of you!

On the PC we booked an August Eastern Carb. on the Fantasy. Just changed it today for Dec. 15,2012 and it goes to San Juan and St Thomas. Believe it or not it was a little cheaper than the August one and we got an extra $25 OBC. We are still waiting for the summer for WOnder and Magic so depending on what is offered we might change it again.'Anyone else going in Dec.

We are waiting impatiently for the Wonder and Magic itineraries as well. We are hoping to go on either the Magic or Wonder late April or May depending on what the ships do and then maybe a cruise on the Fantasy over my birthday in November.

Hello everyone, hope all is well. I came across an interesting tidbit on a site called Screamscapes, the Ultimate Guide to Theme Parks. http://www.screamscape.com/html/walt_disney_world_resort.htm
It had the following 'news'
(1/13/11) A Screamscape source who got up close and personal with the Disney Dream discovered a little something interesting onboard. Take a close look at this picture found within a a rug or carpet aboard the ship. Do you see what I see?
I see the two larger Disney Cruise Line ships (Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy both docked by the red star that represents the official Florida home port. One of the smaller ships, the Disney Wonder, is shown next to it’s new home port in Long Beach, California. So that leaves the very interesting third red star to represent the Disney Magic, which appears destined to depart for a new home port in Europe, likely somewhere in France, once the Disney Fantasy goes online in 2012."

No more transatlantic cruises? Interesting that the homeport would be in France and not Spain. But then, I don't know how valid this info or picture is. Did any of you notice this rug while you were on the Dream? Anyone sailing on the Dream soon and could look for it? Maybe while on the tours they give?

That is interesting. With Disney's attention to detail, I cannot imagine that they would put a carpet in that is not accurate. So far all the rumours seem to indicate that the Magic will not go to Europe in 2012. However, last year numerous cast members told me that the Magic would be home ported in Europe and the crew was not happy about this as they would then be subject to the European Work Time Directive (essentially no more than 48 hours work per week). I suppose only time will tell.

To be honest I can't think what the Magic would do all winter over here. I think coming for the summer season is a good idea to continue and then find some other ports close to the US for the rest of the year.
