From WDW to DL With Love - January 06, 2011 part 5

Safe travels to everyone that's leaving today, tomorrow, Wednesday (like us), or even Thursday morning.

Thanks to everyone that's organized anything for this HUGE group. It's going to be so fun to finally meet and play with everyone on the ship.

I've got about 30% of the packing done. Still waiting on some laundry to finish.

So, Saturday evening our big TV in the family room went out. Okay. No big deal. We'll get it fixed when we return. This morning, though, the hot water went out as I was getting into the shower. DD was already in there as it was warming up. But when I stepped in it started getting colder and colder. BRRRRRRR!!!!!! I don't have time to wait around for a plummer before we leave. I guess we'll be showering at MIL's the next couple of days and deal with that, too, when we get back. Grrr! I'm so not happy having to think about returning to reality upon return when we haven't even left yet.

Okay, deep breath, moving on... Back to packing now. See y'all real soon.

My brain is spinning today. We have a small business and I am the bookkeeper. I need to process three weeks of payroll and anticipate three weeks of bills to get paid on line. I'm the entire department and the only one with money access! whine, whine, WINE

BUT as the owners....we never have to worry about the boss saying "NO!" to our vacation dates!!

Finished clothes and misc packing last night. Still have electronics and toys to get ready. We leave cold Iowa on Wednesday!

Can't wait to meet this great group!!!

So......back to work and then only two more sleeps before we leave!!!

I'm bringing first contact. I'm trying to bring the better movies. I think if I forced people to watch Jar Jar Binks for 2 hours, I'd end up overboard

I thought DH had all of Star Trek on DVD, and he probably does somewhere. But I do know where Tron is if you can't find yours.

I actually think I might have loaned this to my Dad. So yes, please bring Tron if you don't mind, just in case I can't find it.

Yep, DH is working today and tomorrow. Hoping he gets off at decent hours so he can help me tie up loose ends. If not, oh well, I'll get it done!

As DS4 says, "Only 2 more sleeps until we ride on the plane!" He's been counting it down the last few days. I had a bad dream about the first day last night. I was in our room but totally didn't remember embarking, the drill, or anything. It was 6PM, we didn't have our luggage, so we opted to eat at Beach Blanket. I was so disappointed because the dining rooms is something I was looking most forward to. Let's hope our luggage is there. If not, we'll be heading to the dining room in jeans and tee shirts.

But it IS a beautiful ship!!!

Thanks for reminding me Jeff about leaving the "working" mice while we're gone. DH, Dick, always stops by the office after a vacation to make sure it's still there. Then he knows if he can just stay in bed the next day!

I'm glad I'm not suffering alone today!
Moving on to printing employee W-2s.

I think I need to re-prioritize what ABSOLUTELY has to get done before we leave. Right now my list is seemingly impossible. DH is home today but has to work tomorrow. So best use that to my advantage.

I forget who posted - brain spinning - whoever is flying from ONT to HOU to MCO - which connecting flight are you on!!? Carmie and family are on the earlier flight - we are on the flight that leaves HOU at about 1:30 pm.

Any chance we are on the same plane!? I grew up in Norco - are you near there??

Just get us drunk first. Jar Jar is hilariously funny when you are drunk. I mean, if people get drunk enough, they start talking like him. And walking like him. And if you want hilarity watch the movie where they make him a Senator that has the deciding vote regarding the evil emperor dude.

I'll be working all the way up through 5 pm Wednesday, so you're not alone.

I've still got to start packing & finishing up laundry. I'm dreading packing for two weeks in hopefully two suitcases. I think that's why I'm procrastinating.

We leave tonight on the midnight flyer out of LAX. My friend & her husband arrived in Florida safely yesterday and she called to give me all the ins & outs for when we arrive tomorrow morning.
