LOL Sherri - it does seem illogical, doesn't it ?
I'm the weekend duty manager for a Supermarket, which means I manage the store from 4pm when the rest of the store management goes home. TBH, I'd much rather something go wrong while I'm in the store, and stay back, rather than what happened a couple of weeks ago, which was a phonecall from our Alarm monitoring company at 3.15am to say the store alarm was going off.....(I'm the meat dept. manager on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and build all the adstock ends on Mondays - not riveting work, but it's less than a mile from my house and the kids' school, so I can't complain).
I have another job, which is head cook at the kids' school, but that's been on hold this year while they've been renovating. I LOVE that job.
So many jobs.... for what ? Disney, of course !
The swimming costumes were for the kids - they have swimming lessons at school every Monday.
As for the exams - well, not enough study done - she has the intelligence to blitz them, but the proverbial will hit the fan sooner rather than later when she sits state-wide exams....
Cheers,

Sally, my DS is a third year at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He was such a good top student at his school that he took ti for granted. Ga Tech is a top school and he discovered that everyone there is as smart as he is and that was a shock. he's had to learn to study! He's finally found his footing and is doing well.
swimming costumes - i love that expression!!
and wow how are hou going to travel so far with so many kids in tow! 3 was tough enough but the farthest we went was 2 and half hours!! (well we drove too and that was miserable, not as bad when disney was at the end, but then we had to come home again).
