Dont worry, we will see it soon enough.Well it doesnt matter what time of day, what computer, wifi or modem I cant log onto Photobucket. Tells me website not available. I uploaded pics to snapfish, but I dont know how to get the img codes like photobucket has. So if you want me to email the pics PM me with your email. Sorry I am so dumb, lol
Only thing I have to say is that of its anything like ta cruise serenity bay will be packed to bursting point.JenKatt is correct. we also have/know a CM and the discounts are quite amazing. I cna't believe it's selling that great. question for you all tht have done PC cruises before: a) how many have been during the school year, or b) right after the holidays or c) 15 days? is this affeacting the selling out or is it maybe the economey or what do y'all think? i think we'll have some less crowded places to go!!
Quote: Sherri - we've got 2 Navigator Verandah cabins, and I'm thoroughly excited with what I hope they'll offer. On our last cruise with P&O, DH and I both were dismayed at what we felt was a lack of private outdoor space (we only had a porthole cabin). With the NV, I reckon we'll have the best of both worlds - a cosy private "extra room" with the bonus of being outside. Given how many sea days we have, I envisage many hours spent relaxing on that verandah, with many calls to room service. Bliss to a busy mum of 4
Nicole - I agree - the logistics for those of us travelling from afar and so many FEs is already concerning me.
Little sleep for the weary here.
Cheers,
Sally

Happy saturday all!
Sherri
I would love a nana nap right now.Sherri - I can't claim to have thought up the username emum - it was actually the name of a group of mums from all over the world I used to post with for a few years - that was more than a decade ago. We thought "e"mum was appropriate because it could represent so much - firstly along the lines of email, eBay, etc., as well as "extraordinary, exceptional, etc." I always liked that it was so succinct, so it's been my username on a few websites for several years. Sorry you asked ? LOL
As for the cruise not selling - I can understand why so many people in the US wouldn't be able to book it, given the school year and the state of the economy. OTOH, I just about jumped for joy when it was announced, as it is my dream cruise, and it fits perfectly in the middle of our kids' Summer holidays.
I'm knackered, and I'm back at work in an hour and a halfI need a nanna nap !
Cheers,
Sally![]()
Greetings everyone...I'm finally HOME!! Just in time to head to D-Land tomorrow for the meet! Whew, I'm already looking forward to NEXT weekend and a bit of a breather! By then, I will have all reports, presentations and conferences completed and can go back to life as usualYeah right!
I hate to be the bone of contention in this conversation and it sounds like the decision has been made anyway, but I feel like someone should speak up for all of those who may not have signed up for several reasons. I think the real fun of doing something like this (especially for the kids) is the joy of going to each room and dropping something off in each persons "pouch," regardless of what (or how big) that "something" is. For that reason, I have a "the more the merrier" mindset. So...I was wondering if I could offer a compromise...Instead of a cut-off DAY, what about a cut-off NUMBER? I know that the magic number for me has always been 100 (as that was what people said to plan for a long time ago). That way, everyone has a number in mind, and we can continue to add people. If the number goes above that, we could always stagger the list where everyone does 100, but they start at different places (for example person 110 starts giving FE's at person 10 and so on...). Granted, that is a complicated solution, but you know what they say about challenging your mind everyday--why do the same thing when you can REALLY confuse yourself
WOOT, WOOT!! So, so, so, so, so, so EXCITED!!!!!!!

Did I say how excited I am yet?? Okay, I guess I'll have to say it again---GO GIANTS!!!!! WA-HOOO!!!!
Oh, I LOVE it, you just gave me a great new word--"Knackered"--Love it, love it!! I may not be Australian, but can I steal that one? To be fair, I'll give you one of my favorite words..."Wonky" It works when you just don't feel like saying "discombobulated!"
I admit it, I'm a bit punchy tonight, but I'm just SO excited to be home (the TSA guy at the airport told me I was WAY too chipper, but I did make him smile)!!!!!
Have a great night!
Melissa
Welcome home, knackered is a funny word, I thought it was scottish to be honest, do you realise where its from right?
knackered: adj very tired; beat. The knackers yard was once a place where old horses were converted into glue.
LAst cruise we taught our tablemates a few scottish words, it was very funny, I didnt realise what rubbish words I used, for instance .
My lentils are minging
